In April 2025, with my family, I had dinner at the "Antico Baglio" Pizzeria Restaurant in Castelbuono. Very nice place, large, tastefully furnished. We focused on the pizzas and chose three different flavours: sfincionella (toasted breadcrumbs, caciocavallo, anchovies and tomato and onion) excellent, inebriating aroma, well-leavened dough, good cooking, Napoli pizza and gourmet pizza (Madonna mozzarella, Nebrodi pork loin, potatoes and ferla mushrooms). All excellent. Friendly staff, good service. Honest prices. Advised

Il locale si trova in buona posizione al centro di Castelbuono. L’accoglienza è cordiale. Ogni preparazione è ben curata e alla base vi sono ottime materie prime.

This place expresses the simplicity of Madonie tastes and the lightness of the bread and pizza dough. The cheese in the bread crust must be tasted and delighted. All the starters are served with taste and originality like the first and second courses. Quality meat and honest prices.

My boyfriend and I went to this place on a Saturday night. Cozy location with rather vivid lights and lively atmosphere. The service guys were very kind. The professional and helpful owner. He recommended a bottle of wine that turned out to be exceptional, not present on the wine list; jewel in the crown of the local winery. We wanted to eat the steak, and in fact he presented us with a decidedly inviting scottona madonita, which arrived cooked at the table after about 10 minutes, also served with French fries in their skins. The delicious homemade bread, with a special fragrance. Careful attention is paid to celiac disease (my boyfriend is gluten intolerant), in fact the restaurant has AIC certification. We ate more desserts (4), all top marks,
We were happy with the bill. If we ever pass through here again, we will definitely be back.
