A blast from the past, like going to lunch at my grandmother's as a child. Every dish is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, the meat so tender it melts in your mouth. But for me, a pasta lover, the highlight is the "maccarruni" with fresh sauce, a true delight! Everything is authentic, from the appetizer to the homemade liqueur we were offered at the end of the meal. And it's not just the food that makes you feel at home, but also the family welcome you receive as soon as you arrive. The staff are wonderful and attentive. Truly, everything is excellent!

I drove here and fell in love with the countryside. I stopped here and fell in love with its people. And I ate here and fell in love with its cuisine. It was undoubtedly one of the best lunches I've ever had, with such fresh ingredients, from the fresh pasta to the fresh ricotta, all local. The antipasto especially left me speechless: every part was prepared with such care, every bite was delicious! I'll definitely be back.

We had lunch at this small, family-run trattoria in the historic center of Aidone, just steps from Piazza Armerina. There were four of us, and we ordered two rich and tasty mixed appetizers (meatballs, eggplant, ricotta, pecorino, olives, stuffed peppers, and frittatas) and two first courses, also shared, featuring fresh homemade pasta with tomato sauce and wild herbs, including "vurrania" (borage). Everything was delicious; you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the simple yet refined cuisine. The restaurant is welcoming and intimate, with limited seating, creating a family-friendly atmosphere. We paid €95 (€22 each appetizer, €14 each first course, €12 cover charge and water). Perhaps a bit pricey considering it's a trattoria in a small Sicilian town, where prices are generally lower. However, the service was courteous and attentive: the very friendly waiter offered us coffee and an almond liqueur at the end of the meal. Overall, an excellent experience, recommended for those seeking traditional Sicilian cuisine in an intimate and authentic setting.

The food is good, and the waiter is very attentive and helpful. There's no menu; they list the daily specials, but no one tells you the prices, which isn't very nice. The place is small, and you're very close to other tables, which doesn't encourage conversation; you basically end up watching TV. The ingredients are good, but I was very disappointed to find meat on my plate, which was supposed to be vegetarian. For an appetizer, a first course, a half-liter of wine, and a bottle of water, we paid €61 for two. Coffee was kindly offered.

We came from Florence with Sicilian friends to explore Aidone and found a truly special place. Warm welcome, very kind staff, even with our little girl. Excellent food, authentic flavors, and the homemade liqueur is wonderful. We'll definitely be back!

I've been to this wonderful place for lunch twice with my mother and daughter. We stumbled upon it by chance, without reading any reviews, but I have to say I completely agree! A welcome worthy of a child who has been away from home for summer vacation; the staff are thoughtful, interested, attentive, and helpful... They make you feel pampered from the moment you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave. The food is excellent, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the way they prepare it. They showcase their local area beautifully, offering traditional Aidone dishes with unique flavors! They were also willing to create a dish for us on the spot at our request... What can I say? Delicious! And they're also friendly, kind, and great company; they joked with my daughter and even helped us get out of Aidone, avoiding the most challenging roads for my driving skills! In short, a little hidden gem that absolutely deserves to be preserved and promoted! I recommend booking as soon as you can!

Cucina casereccia a km 0, tutto ottimo daglielo antipasto, ai primi, ottima la carne di maiale cotta al puntino, gentili e cordiali, si serpira e si assaporando aria di casa 🏡, la vera cucina siciliana dei nostri nonni, ci ritneremo di certo.

Locale piccolo ma grazioso. Gestione familiare da parte di due fantastici fratelli. Il cibo ottimo, cucinato bene, di assoluta qualità e bontà. Siamo stati in questo localino il 15 maggio 2025, antipasto per due, tutte cose tipiche e buone, un primo con asparagi, salsiccia e mollica tostata, delizioso e super abbondante, tanto che lo abbiamo mangiato in due e non siamo nemmeno riusciti. Il secondo, sempre uno in due, spezzatino come mai ne avevo mangiato così buono. Il bambino ha voluto le polpette al sugo, squisite. Birra, acqua, frutta, amaro e caffè. Il prezzo super onesto, solo 60 euro, e le polpette del bambino omaggiate dalla casa. Se siete ad Aidone super consigliato. Bravi ragazzi, continuate così! Grazie per la vostra apprezzata gentilezza.
