Last night, dinner for four people in a small restaurant, which is why reservations are recommended. Unfortunately, we got confused and chose the wrong day, but the owner, with great kindness and professionalism, quickly resolved the situation and still managed to set us a table.
The menu offers traditional Venetian dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. These days, moeche (soft shellfish) are popular: they were good, although I personally expected a little more.
Overall, we ate very well; the staff was always courteous and attentive, and the atmosphere was that of a true Venetian restaurant. A positive experience; I would gladly return.

Cozy place with decent seafood. At the same time I did not feel like the price was justified. For 35 euros per dish I’d expect more. So overall, I can’t recommend this restaurant. You can have more interesting food in Venetia for less.

We absolutely loved our dinner at Antiche Carampane. The service of the two waitresses was immaculate and they explained to us everything we asked about. The starter of mixed Venetian fish dishes was so delicious. Still thinking about the bread with onions and broccoli which came in the bread basket. The main which was a local fish wrapped in cabbage on a rice saffron cream with seasonal vegetable creams was amazing. Would definitively want to go back and can’t wait for the next time.

This charming Osteria is located in a quiet street away from the tourist center. It's not overly large, but it's well-kept and family-friendly. The very friendly staff (especially the owner) welcomes you with great kindness. The dishes are typical of Venetian culinary tradition: cuttlefish in ink with polenta, moeche (seasonal crabs), tagliolini with spider crab, and much more. A true explosion of flavors at more than fair prices.
It's worth losing yourself in the most authentically Venetian colors and flavors.

Tucked away from the busy tourist paths, this charming restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience rooted in tradition, quality and tasteful dishes.
The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, with a sense of history. The staff were attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food and the story behind each recipe.
The seafood here is simply outstanding, fresh, expertly prepared, and full of flavor.
This is the kind of restaurant you want to keep secret but can’t help raving about. If you want a true Venetian dining experience, unpretentious, delicious, and full of heart food, this is the place.
