The taste and price were both excellent. You enter the restaurant by telling the staff how many people you have and then joining the queue. I went there around 7pm without a reservation and was able to get in without waiting. I ordered: Carbonara 9€ Wine 1L 8€ Tiramisu 4€ Water 1.5€ Arrabiata 8€ The following are my impressions. The carbonara was especially different from what I eat in Japan. The arrabiata was just the right amount of spicy with just the right amount of tomato acidity, which I liked. The staff were friendly and it was easy to order.

We found this restaurant by chance, when it started raining late afternoon, during our adventure out walking around Rome on our first full day there. I am so happy that we did! I had the Saltimbocca, my fiancé had the Bucatini all'amatriciana, and we shared the polpette alla Romana. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place!

Good, authentic feeling trattoria with focus (appropriately) on local, Roman dishes. One person in the party has a number of allergies and cannot eat Gluten, and the staff was helpful offering her the artichoke Alla Romana and gluten free pasta for spaghetti alla vongele. On the whole a more than satisfactory experience, and reasonably priced.

10/02/2025: The food is good, it's a shame there's too much confusion, tables practically next to each other.
01/02/2025: When you order takeaway you often expect significantly lower quality than when eating in a restaurant. Here it's different. I received a truly excellent dish, hot, generous in portion and decidedly superlative in its seasoning. The strozzapreti with Sicilian flavors that I ordered gave me the emotion of a dinner at a restaurant while being at home. I will definitely order from you in the future, highly recommended!!

13/02/2025: Conoscevo già Il Catanese di Roma per averci acquistato dei prodotti, ed erano buonissimi, ma non avevo mai avuto l'occasione di mangiarci. Finalmente ci sono riuscito, e devo dire che non mi è dispiaciuto affatto. Buon cibo, non so fino a che punto veramente "siciliano", ma buono a prezzi onesti. Locale carino, anche se un po' troppa confusione all'ora di punta . Comunque però Buono .
04/02/2025: Very nice place and as a Sicilian I must say that I liked the desserts. The only problem is the girls in the room who are really grumpy...
