A stone's throw from the central stench of the splendid Nardò. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Good quality food and adequate and honest prices. I recommend it!

My partner and I booked this small restaurant in the center of Nardò... We liked several things: The humanity of the staff..from the father to the son and the girl (daughter?!) ...in the dining room..the mother in the kitchen.. We asked for a bottled rose'...and while we were waiting the boy also let us taste the primitivo rose'...both excellent We started with the mixed seafood appetizer and fresh fried anchovies...a pleasure for our taste buds...very fresh fish!!! We took the homemade pasta with seafood. Really good! And unfortunately we couldn't taste the octopus in a piñata...but we had the mixed fry which also included fried octopus...delicious!!! Finally, fig cake and almond paste sweets...spectacular! We will not forget the honesty of these people... their smiles and their kindness... Thanks for making us have a really nice evening! Salandra IS Nardò. No concessions to tourist catering, traditional dishes, product quality, territoriality, honest account. Amazing family restaurant with excellent local food for an incredably low price. We went here three times in one week. Especially the spaghetti with mussels is a meal you have to try!

Their kindness and professionalism, even though we hadn't booked, made sure we found a table... excellent traditional food! not to mention the bill... Honesty reigns supreme... congratulations!!!!

We often come to the wonderful Nardo, but alas, the first time to this family-run restaurant familiar. Personally I loved the pieces and the meatballs in sauce, my better half the octopus in a bowl, but above all we appreciated the friendliness of the owner and his son. We will return for sure.

Classica osteria di una volta nel cuore del centro storico di Nardò, nascosta in un vicoletto proprio dietro la meravigliosa piazza Salandra e molto frequentata dai locali amanti delle ricette e della cucina tradizionale, con ambiente familiare, servizio rustico e prezzi contenuti. Perfetta per un tuffo nella più autentica tradizione culinaria salentina e per chi ama i sapori forti e onesti di una volta.

Siamo andati in questa trattoria incuriositi dalle ottime recensioni, credetemi che scelta migliore non potevamo fare! Il locale è una bomboniera, piccolo ma curato nei particolari, cibo buonissimo e veramente tipico, Giuseppe è di una simpatia unica, insieme all'altro ragazzo.si prendono cura degli ospiti consigliando e descrivendo chiaramente le pietanze che poi servono. Tutto buonissimo, ma superlativo è lo spumone con fichi e mandorle affogato nel borsci san marzano. Conto molto più che onesto. Da consigliare ma soprattutto da ritornarci!! Grande Giuseppe!!!
