I came here after a recommendation. The food is very good, they have traditional dishes, and the portions are generous. The place is very large and has plenty of seating. I recommend it for any occasion.

On a road trip (two of us), we decided to stop for lunch at this trattoria not far from the Modena Sud highway toll booths. The restaurant has a large parking lot, convenient for truckers. The interior, with its rustic, antique look, is spacious and welcoming. The antique utensils hanging on the walls and the large windows overlooking the outside are characteristic. We sat down at the table, and shortly after, a very friendly and welcoming waiter arrived to take our order. The appetizer was delicious, including cured meats, cheeses, olives, and fried gnocchi. We continued with a classic Romagnolo dish, tagliatelle with Bolognese sauce, and a very simple pasta with tomato sauce. The pasta with tomato sauce arrived a few minutes later, making me doubt whether it had obviously been ready for a while. The same cannot be said for the tagliatelle, which arrived much later, practically when I had already finished my pasta, and in a measly portion at that. Finally, I finished with a mix of grilled vegetables: the peppers, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes were delicious. The coffee was excellent. Honestly, I expected larger portions, considering it's a truck stop. The men's restrooms were in decent condition. When it came to the bill, we had to ask for a receipt. Overall, it was good, but I expected something more.
