Last night, with some friends, we had dinner at the Antica Trattoria Peluro.
Appetizer: charcuterie board (excellent), textbook herb tart, and delicious chestnut and ricotta fritters.
First course: lasagna with venison and mushroom ragù, to die for.
Followed by the unmissable testaroli with pesto, fabulous.
Friendly and impeccable service.
A place worth the trip.

I went to dinner last night...with friends from my youth....a fantastic evening accompanied by excellent service and a sublime menu full of local dishes....wonderful cured meats....the legendary testaroli with pesto....I highly recommend stopping by this osteria in the historic center of Pontremoli....hugs to you all from Marzia....❤️

I was there last night and it was a wonderful discovery, in a family atmosphere. What can I say? The cold cuts platter was excellent, the herb tart delicious, the two first courses lasagna with venison ragu and mushrooms, and the inevitable testaroli with pesto. Nothing was the same, but what really struck me was the delicate and very tasty tripe. A round of applause for Mr. Renzo and see you soon.

Passing by, we accidentally found this place. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very kind, attentive, and professional. The owner accommodated my off-menu requests without a second thought. The dishes were tasty, authentic, and very fresh. The recommended wine and liqueurs were delicious. I would go back every night! Well done, well done, well done!
