An interesting lunch, featuring high-quality ingredients, well-prepared dishes, and a good selection of wines. The restaurant is informal yet elegant, and overall cleanliness is good.
I tried a raw fish dish, a baked sea bream, and a scampi busara. Overall, everything was pleasant, but there were a few details that could be improved: the raw fish, the scampi, prawns, scallops, and scallops weren't cleaned properly; the casing had been partially removed, or in some cases not at all. Anyone who doesn't know this risks eating the whole thing without even realizing it.
The baked sea bream was also served whole, without filleting: for those who aren't familiar with cleaning fish, this can make the tasting a bit tricky.

The gnocchi and mushroom pasta were good. We had sorbet for dessert, and it delighted us with its exquisite taste. The espresso was also good. Definitely 5 stars!

Found it by chance and it was a surprise. The owner, a waiter and dishwasher from Desio, is not only a good businessman but also an excellent cook. Recommended dishes?? ALL OF THEM!! The place needs a little more attention as it's starting to show its age, but otherwise highly recommended!!

I've been several times because I love their raw fish, and the other dishes are also delicious.

The dinner was fantastic, and both owners were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is intimate and welcoming, nestled in the Cavana. The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked with passion and in amazing combinations. The only downside was perhaps the slightly high bill, but it was more than made up for by the owners' kindness and politeness, qualities that aren't always a given in Trieste restaurants.

We found this very authentic local restaurant. One page menu, specialized in sea food. It’s one of those small places that puts their heart and soul into the restaurant. They had a special local mussel (mussoli) on the menu, which was slightly more chewy than black mussels but it was such a fun experience to taste something new. I hate touristy places and I am always looking for the unique & authentic gastronomic experiences. This definitely hit the spot! I had the sea bass for main course which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The gnocchi was incredible, I would say one of the best home made gnocchi I ever tasted. The dessert was quite small but beautiful balance of flavors. To top it off, they sold house wine. We tried the sparkling white wine which was delicious and only added to the great experience. Would 100% recommend it if you like seafood!

A vegetarian writes a review of a fish restaurant: When booking the previous evening, when I asked for a vegetarian dish (my companion was keen to eat there because they had brodetto on the menu), they told me there were none (not even fries), but promised to have them the following evening. Their promise was more than kept: They had bought a tub of porcini mushrooms and made a wonderful salad of raw porcini mushrooms, Sedano, and Parmesan cheese, served with fried potato slices. My companion was equally delighted with his grilled scallops and the Zuppa di Pesce, which was a real fish soup. Such good food and perfect service (even though there were only two of them) made for a very enjoyable evening.
