One of the highlights of our Italian vacation. Very authentic and delicious Tuscan cuisine. We would have loved to try the entire menu. We had a starter, a first course, two second courses, and two desserts, along with a very good regional wine. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Tuscany. A walk through the very tranquil town of San Donato is also highly recommended. We would have loved to have spent more time here.

We went here last minute and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was very authentic and the owner was very nice, sharing with us tips on local olive oil. The Fresh pasta dishes they make is a must. It is in the historic center so you have to park a few blocks away but the walk is nice

A small trattoria in the heart of San Donato in Poggio. We stopped for a quick lunch during a bike tour. The owner and waitress were highly professional and empathetic. The food was excellent (and we didn't try the homemade pasta 😋). The Chianti-style stew was spectacular. The cellar is well-stocked with local Chianti Classico.
We were also lucky enough to hear a few stories from the old man, who was probably the former manager of the place and a delightful person.

Ristorante caratteristico a gestione familiare, personale accogliente e disponibile, cibo buono, non metto 5 stelle perché si potrebbe aumentare un po le quantità dei piatti per il resto nulla da dire, cibo buonissimo e prezzi nella norma.
