Volver a San Donato por primera vez desde el Covid siempre sería interesante. Esta opinión está destinada a ser parcial ya que fuimos huéspedes de nuestros queridos amigos Luigi y Elena, propietarios de La Toppa. Mucho no cambió, pero en las hábiles manos de su hijo Matteo comer allí de nuevo fue como ponerse un suéter muy querido. Raviolis con salsa de trufa, Pici con tomate, Bistecca alla Fiorentina todos bañados con estimado tinto de la casa y, por supuesto, completados por la inimitable Pannacotta de Luigi. Pudimos recomendar el restaurante a varias personas mientras estábamos allí. No importa el sesgo; dudo que encuentres mejor "Cocina típica toscana"

If you are in the area I recommend trying this restaurant: typical Tuscan food of great quality, a good selection of wines, very honest prices. Very very kind and friendly staff, they gave us lots of advice on what to do in the area.

10/01/2025: I tried the one with neck meat and tripe. A very delicious and beautiful street food. Thanks to Bilican who knows how to travel. :)
08/01/2025: boiled neck meat or long-cooked beef tandoori in sauce, round flatbread with sauces are perfect. I think it is Florence's number 1 among fast food.
