Excellent trattoria not far from the highway exit. Impeccable service and traditional dishes

I went to this place with my wife and my daughter, attracted by the name "trattoria", but I was very disappointed.
Today the term trattoria is overused, which should evoke simplicity, generous portions and affordable prices.
In reality, we found ourselves in a restaurant in all respects: white tablecloths, a formal atmosphere and decidedly restaurant prices (3 euros for the cover charge and 17 euros for a second course of first courses with really small portions).
Tagliatelle with ragù was delicious, lasagna ok (I thought better).
Even a dessert similar to tiramisu was very good.
We had a dish with three vegetables on the side, good but 15 euros seems like an exaggeration to me.
Trattoria is something else entirely. A little more sincerity in labelling oneself wouldn't hurt.

Typical Emilian trattoria, thick walls and cool inside (outside 33 degrees). We tasted fried gnocco, pumpkin tortelli, cold lambrusco, a delight. Prompt and very friendly service, excellent prices

Everything was fantastic! It was like going back to my grandparents' house! I ate a lasagna that took me back in time. For a moment it seemed like I was at a Sunday family lunch.. Definitely worth going back to ❤️

We went to this lovely trattoria on our way back from Maranello. The view is that of a typical trattoria, both from the outside and inside, with slightly dated furnishings but that have a lived-in feel. The welcome was very professional and the table service was very good, fast and not too intrusive. We ate a mix of cured meats with fried dumplings (spectacular) to start. We continued with the classic tagliatelle with ragù, just the right amount and seasoning and tortellini with balsamic vinegar (the pasta was excellent). We treated ourselves to a glass of Lambrusco (we are at his house 😜), two excellent desserts, a zuppa inglese and a sponge cake with custard and fruit, truly tasty and light. Finally, coffee and pastries. If I lived in the area, I would gladly return to try the rest of the menu.
I'm not giving five stars only because the prices are more like a restaurant than a trattoria but it's worth a visit.

Ci troviamo a Modena per lavoro. Pranziamo prima di riprendere l’autostrada.
Senza prenotazione, siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e da subito ci hanno prospettato mezz’ora di attesa per un tavolo. Dopo soli 10’ ci hanno fatto accomodare.
Materia prima di altissima qualità, servizio informale ma professionale e curato.
Bollito misto Top.
Antipasto caldo, misto salumi accompagnato da gnocco fritto superlativo e per nulla unto.
Bis di primi (lasagne e tortelli alla zucca) e bollito misto.
Un simpatico ringraziamento in particolare al cameriere giovane dentro.
Consigliamo e ritorneremo sicuramente.

Frequento spesso questo ristorante e vale la pena tornare a recensirlo. Cibo eccellente, dai primi piatti al dessert.
Il carrello dei bolliti / arrosti è divino, così come i contorni.
Ottimo comfort di sala, tavoli con privacy e spaziosi. Servizio sempre impeccabile.
