A lovely, typical Sicilian restaurant in the center of Cividale? Of course!
We had lunch in the shade of a wonderful pergola in the restaurant's courtyard. The relaxing and soothing atmosphere alone makes Trattoria Dominissini worth a visit even just for an aperitif, but we went much further...
The appetizer was delicious Sicilian arancini, followed by spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, cherry tomatoes, and bottarga. The main course was mouth-watering grilled octopus, all accompanied by a Grillo Siciliano wine. And how could we pass up cannoli for dessert?

This Sicilian restaurant, nestled in a quiet and picturesque street in Cividale, exudes a romantic, Mediterranean atmosphere.
It's lovely to eat both outside, under the vine-covered pergola, and inside.
The food is good and the service is quick. The wine selection is extensive.
The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Last time we ordered grilled swordfish steak, sliced red tuna with chopped pistachios, and the inevitable mixed antipasto to start.
Every time I pass through Cividale, I stop at Dominissini.
I highly recommend it.

First time at this trattoria, and it won't be the last. A lovely discovery with quality food at perhaps a bit pricey, but honestly, the dishes we tried were worth it. The place is very pleasant and quiet, and the service is kind and attentive. We'll see you again, and congratulations to the management.

We had a really good time, and the lunch selection was spot on.
The dishes were generous and well-cooked, and the waitress was really friendly and fast...what more could you ask for?

A spectacular corner of Sicily in Cividale. Excellent ingredients expertly prepared. I had an exceptional pasta with sardines. The wine list is also refined and varied, offering both local and national labels, including Sicilian ones.

Very attentive service, delicious food, fair prices. We did have to wait a bit for the antipasti, but we had the time, so no hard feelings. Loved the breezy outside terrace!
