The welcome and atmosphere were excellent.
The service was prompt and attentive, and the staff were also excellent.
I tried the risotto alla Milanese and the cotoletta alla Milanese.
Paired with Lambrusco di Romagna IGT (Nerodilambrusco), the Chickpeas, a sweet sparkling wine.
Dessert: chocolate mousse with raspberries.
Good value for money (€78).

The best Milanese risotto I've ever eaten!!! I had a great time, the staff were very friendly, and the location was beautiful—not too noisy for a quiet conversation.

One of the best trattorias in Milan, an authentic and welcoming place that makes you feel at home. The menu is simple yet rich in traditional and varied dishes, with equally delicious vegetarian options. A quiet and elegant place, without anything fancy. Highly recommended.
P.S.: Order the chocolate soufflé! It's worth it.

We were here the other evening for dinner with colleagues, and the experience was truly excellent. The restaurant is a Milanese institution, and you can feel the history as soon as you enter: the atmosphere has remained that of an old trattoria, with the original floors and a warm atmosphere that's hard to find in the city these days. Even though the place was practically full, they found us a table! The service was punctual, welcoming, and attentive.
We started with a culatello appetizer accompanied by homemade giardiniera. For our main courses, we opted for traditional classics: I had the cassoeula, simply wonderful, while my colleague chose the ossobuco with risotto alla Milanese. The portions were decidedly generous, and we left feeling truly full and satisfied, which is not a given these days.
To accompany our dinner, we chose a Sassella Valtellina Superiore from Nino Negri, which proved to be the ideal choice to match such structured and bold dishes. The staff is well-trained and knows their way around even when the place is full, maintaining a professional yet welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The bill clearly reflects the quality of the ingredients and the prestige of the place, but it's definitely worth it if you're looking for authentic Milanese cuisine cooked to perfection. A place to definitely return to when you're craving substance and tradition.

Simply the best authentic Milanese restaurant so far, the fillet is super awesome, not to forget the saffron risotto , as well as other dishes.
Very well done, highly recommended.
