I happened upon it yesterday for lunch, excellent appetizer: fried polenta and cheese, tortellini and top lasagna.

We went for the tortellini in broth, and we were completely satisfied. The broth was EXQUISITE, taking me back in time. The other dishes we ordered were equally as good: everything was fresh, impeccably cooked, and generous portions. Welcoming place, and the staff were friendly and fast. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant takes its name from the town's historic mill, just steps from the old walls. Surrounded by antique utensils, we're immediately immersed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is extensive, featuring traditional Bolognese dishes of excellent quality: the fried tortellini are delicious, as are the mixed platter and tagliatelle with meat sauce. Attentive and friendly service, and the price is reasonable.

Extremely good food, everything homemade and you can taste it, generous portions, friendly and professional waiters. I'm from Piedmont, but if I were to return, I would definitely eat here.

We stumbled upon it by chance. Excellent food, homemade and plentiful...the fresh pasta was spectacular!! Perfect table service, friendliness, hospitality, everything was top notch! Congratulations!!!

Everything was excellent, from the crescentine appetizer, fried polenta, to the first courses, lasagna tagliatelle, mushrooms, sliced ​​meat with fried and oven-baked potatoes, desserts, wine... I recommend it and I will return to eat other delicacies😋

Albergo Ristorante Il Poggiolo

10/05/2026: I've stayed at Poggiolo both as a hiker and had a wonderful time. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless, the food is good, and the hosts are incredibly friendly. I also stayed for the DRL concert on April 25th, and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.
27/04/2026: A beautiful refuge in one of the most evocative places of the Resistance, Monte Sole. I recommend taking a nice walk and stopping for lunch.

22/04/2026: The club is located inside a warehouse, divided into various areas by bookcases. The atmosphere is very vintage, even charming. For lunch, there's a set menu with various choices; the dishes I tried were good. The wait was long, but then everything arrived. The staff was friendly and kind.
