Antica Trattoria Comes dal 1926 In Polignano a mare

I had lunch with my family at this restaurant in Polignano, located just steps from the town square, on the recommendation of a local friend. As soon as I left, I called to thank him for the recommendation. The restaurant is welcoming and clean, the owner, who is also a handyman, is friendly, unpretentious, and never intrusive. Above all, the portions are generous and of the highest quality! The seafood cavatelli, in particular, prepared by the owner's mother, were spectacular! I know for sure that when we return to beautiful Polignano, we'll have no doubts, despite the fierce competition, about where to have lunch! Oh, and I almost forgot...the prices are fair, which further enhance the overall impression, which is overwhelmingly positive! Congratulations!

Best restaurant we ate at in all of Puglia!! We even came here twice in our 6 nights of stay. Family run and owned. Very authentic and food was incredible. Tried almost everything on the menu and all 10/10. Octopus was very tender both the salad and the grilled option. Orecchiette was our favorite pasta dish off the menu menu however all pastas were exceptional. Even the desserts were amazing. Giuseppe was very attentive and went above and beyond during both our dinners. Highly recommend you don’t want to miss it.

Popular restaurant with very good food. Despite being crowded and having many guests, the waiter took care of it superbly. Very nice waiter. Hadn't booked a table before but still got a seat after a while of waiting. Good prices.

You walk in and immediately feel at home. Giuseppe, who welcomes you, serves you, and takes your orders, is the essence of a gentle giant. A hard worker and a truly wonderful person. Just look at him and you realize that when you want to do something, you can. The cuisine, also excellent, has that "homey" feel and flavor. Giuseppe davvero gentile e molto in gamba visto che era solo a gestire tutti i tavoli. Parla diverse lingue e il ristorante era pieno. Cucina semplice e buona, casalinga, che molto spesso è davvero la migliore!

Accueil tres chaleureux, de plus tout est préparé par la maman en cuisine !! Produit frais et plat savoureux. Je recommande les yeux fermés.
