Family lunch. Dishes were well-prepared, but I personally expected something different from the first course. The staff was attentive to their customers. The desserts were very classic. From a trattoria, I expected simple, slightly dated dishes. Overall, the food was good.

We went for dinner on August 31st, four adults and a baby. We found the place online because we were out of town. The lady, presumably the owner, immediately attacked us for not realizing we had a lift, which meant we were taking up more space. To use the restroom, she has to provide you with hand towels after giving instructions on how to use the restroom. It's like being at school with the teacher, but unfortunately, I'm 60 and know how to behave. The food is good, but the owner makes you anxious. It's better to humble yourself and welcome customers more kindly. In any case, I won't go there again.

We ate well but particularly expensive, gnocco and tigelle with cold cuts (4 pieces of gnocco, 4 tigelle, pesto and cold cuts) 1 bottle of Lambrusco Borgo dei Contrari Humus, 1 bottle of water and 2 desserts, total 82 euros.

A restaurant in the center of Modena with friendly staff, good food, and reasonable prices...culaccia with crescentine (I would have preferred 1 or 2 more crescentine) and Modena-style pork cutlet...outstanding. Recommended.

Abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria scelta tra le promozioni The Fork. Abbiamo scelto due secondi il pollo e la cotoletta . Ottimi entrambi con i loro contorni. Porzioni più che soddisfacenti. Gentile il personale attento al cliente. Da sottolineare i 4 € di coperto probabilmente giustificato da un cestino del pane con varie proposte. Lo consiglia.o a chi sta attento alla qualità.

24/08/2025: It's in a truly beautiful location, surrounded by nature. We stumbled upon it by chance, and it was wonderful to see free-roaming animals like cows, ducks, donkeys, and so on. We came here attracted by the live music. We only had coffee, but we'll definitely be back since they also serve food.
22/08/2025: We had lunch and dinner at both La Tana del lupo locations, enjoying both grilled meat and pizza. We had lunch by the lake at the Baita, which was already very busy at 12:00. The very kind staff warned us about the wait and took our reservation anyway, since we decided to stay for lunch anyway. We were also intrigued by the open BBQ area, already open, and by the skill and passion with which the staff handled the meats. We ordered a sliced ​​steak and a grilled sirloin, fried porcini mushrooms, and roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious, especially the excellent meat and the perfect cooking, which left it tender, succulent, and flavorful—a masterpiece! The pizza we ordered for dinner at the Rifugio was also excellent: plentiful, well-seasoned, balanced, and cooked to perfection without burnt bubbles (which I hate). We'll definitely be back!
