I don't recommend it, I ordered mezzalune with gorgonzola and balsamic vinegar and they brought me mezzalune with butter and sage telling me that the online-only menu had been changed a few moments after I ordered it, I found it incorrect, you tell me before bringing me the dish or possibly you propose to change it, among other things, nothing special about the edge being completely raw like my husband's tortellini with parmesan cream.

Ideal inn to enjoy traditional Modena and Emilian cuisine. Tasty dishes and generous portions.
Fassona steak is excellent as an appetizer. As a second course, I recommend the cutlet, super in every sense, both in taste and quantity and if you want to try an excellent side dish, different from the usual, I recommend the baked pumpkin, it is delicious in fact it melts in your mouth.
Very friendly and helpful staff, better to book on weekends.

Customer service was good and very welcoming. However, the quality-price ratio did not seem entirely adequate to me. The tortelli with ricotta and herbs were overcooked, almost raw in some parts. The red wine braised meat was well cooked, but unfortunately too salty. The octopus, well spiced, however had the rice too al dente and one of the two pieces of octopus was rubbery due to overcooking. Despite this, I really appreciated the flavor of the sauces, which were really excellent and paired perfectly.
The veal ribs were much appreciated, as were the tagliatelle with meat sauce, which were excellent. Overall, the experience was a bit mixed, but I hope that with some improvements it can become truly excellent.

Il locale e arredamento da trattoria ma costi da ristorante. Promozione adottata ma ”dalla finestra vengono comunicati costi accessori” che vanificano un conto moderato atteso! Che fare andare via e pagare il coperto e acqua 4 euro? Si rimane per evitare di rovinare la serata! Per altro le materie prime sono buone la composizione del piatto da osteria! Abbiamo letto la maggioranza delle recensioni e abbiamo deciso di provare. Il dualismo del livello di servizio rimane e il conto va comunque pagato ma un atteggiamento negativo rimane nel conto lo stesso!
In ogni caso il dolce e amaro nei costi da 3 stelle “copertoni”!

Decisamente una piacevole scoperta da modenese DOC ed in pieno centro città, mi rendo sempre più conto di quato siamo "banali e superficiali" alle volte nello scegliere i locali, rincorrendo moda comodità e "cool & fashion" del momento, mentre invece le tradizionali e storiche osterie che servono cortesia e tradizione culinaria alle volte siano di gran lunga superiori ai nomi più blasonati e pubblicizzati della ristorazione. Davvero complimenti e banalmente vi dico "continuate così" anche se avendo saputo che "ci siete" da oltre 20 anni suona decisamente "fuori luogo". Grazie a presto.
