The little extra was missing. Relatively small dish. No bread. Little cold service. Was at least not extremely overpriced.

I don't understand the negative opinions, the food is very good, the pizza with pistachios is poetry, the portions are sufficient, clean, with tradition and nice service, we recommend it

What we ordered wasn't exactly to our liking. We expected it to be different. Still, it was a nice experience.

For November, all the restaurants are empty. The lady at the square advertised the dish—in this case, pizza—so much so that we were persuaded to go. It was worth it!

Excellent fish restaurant with so many variations if fish and seafood specialities. The food we ordered was fantastic: fresh, well prepared and with the perfect spices. We started with a mixed fish varieties followed by grilled dorado and solomon fish. That was wonderfull.
We left no remainings of the food and finished our dinner with an excellent cup of Americano coffee.
The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our meal and fir sure, we will come back again.

Antica Sicilia's cuisine is, without a doubt, "absit iniuria verbis," and without taking anything away from anyone, I completely agree with its gastronomic choices. Antica Sicilia is a restaurant from another era, to use an old-fashioned French expression, or, to use more contemporary jargon, not Instagrammable! But that's fine, much, much, much better!
Contaminated cuisine, nouvelle cuisine, created by the corruption of fashions and the decomposition of the planet's gastronomy, is leading this sector to bankruptcy. We're seeing this increasingly frequently with the closure of businesses, even Michelin-starred ones! Throughout Italy, from north to south, even major brands and restaurant chains are increasingly forced to close. This isn't the path to culinary renaissance! It's clear! Italian cuisine must reclaim its native identity, starting from the trattoria, from small village restaurants, from family traditions, from the local area, from quality products...let's keep this in mind!
At Antica Sicilia, I had excellent spaghetti with clams. I must say the pasta was cooked to perfection, but it was perfectly palatable because the creamy base of the savory sauce made it easy to chew.
For the main course—actually, an appetizer I wanted for the second course—was the Gran Galà, a large antipasto of cold and hot seafood that satisfied my late-night hunger, shortly after my arrival in Catania.
For the dishes described above, a glass of Grillo, water, sorbet, and coffee, cover charge included, cost me the same as a pizza and a beer at an average restaurant in Milan.

Hidden away on a side street, but overall, this restaurant has nothing to hide.
The food is very tasty. The service staff is very friendly, though perhaps their timing could use some improvement. There was a slightly longer wait between the appetizer and the main course. The tables weren't very full, but the staff was well-staffed. Nevertheless, it's recommendable.

We went there on the advice of a girl who was advertising, we were really happy with the food and the staff were kind.
