The food was good but it could be better. In my opinion the Filetto di manzo is not worth 28 euros. The Tajarin Antica Reggia was too salty.

During an evening visit to Venaria, we stopped for dinner without a reservation and were greeted warmly. The restaurant is clean, informal, and has a simple atmosphere. We chose the tasting menu, which includes an appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert, featuring typical Piedmontese dishes for €38. The portions were adequate and the flavors were overall good. The local wine was also pleasant. The service could be improved: if I put my cutlery down after the first courses, it's because I want them changed, not because I'm told to keep them. Overall, a sufficient experience for a quiet dinner after visiting the Royal Palace.

Everything was delicious, from pizza to pasta, fish, and desserts. The atmosphere was elegant, the service was adequate, and the prices were reasonable. We'll be back!

11/12/2025: We dined at this Mediterranean restaurant and were truly thrilled! From the mussel appetizer, served in a delicious sauce and accompanied by toasted bread, we knew we were in for a special evening. The seafood paella was spectacular: rich in flavor, with shrimp, mussels, and the freshest clams, cooked to perfection and served in a large, scenic pan that left everyone speechless. Each dish smelled of the sea and tradition, truly delicious! The staff was extremely kind: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable in recommending dishes and pairings. The owner also deserves a special mention for his friendliness and passion, which are evident in every detail of the restaurant. An experience we recommend to those who love authentic, hearty cuisine. We'll definitely be back! 🌊🍽️

16/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Risto Pizzeria Dai Borboni – Turin Located just steps from Piazza Castello, in one of Turin's central streets: a truly convenient and pleasant location. The pizza is very good, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The service is friendly, although it could be better organized during busy periods. Overall, a good experience: recommended pizza and an excellent location for a casual dinner in the city center.
25/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, intrigued by the banner on the street, "Contrada dei Guardinfanti," and it was love at first sight. The restaurant's name says it all, and my two friends and I introduced ourselves as "Bourbons." Through laughter and chatter, we met Marianna and her two brothers who run this welcoming restaurant, rediscovering our shared roots. The menu offers a choice of a few dishes (four for each course), but they're surprising: Neapolitan tradition married with Piedmontese (for example, the excellent braised beef in Aglianico) or revisited (linguine with truffle and raw shrimp, cannoli filled with ricotta and mascarpone). There's a wide selection of wines, but I stuck with the superb Aglianico from Le Janare. We returned three nights and were never disappointed. Last but not least.... Don't forget the pizza, which I highly recommend (and the tiramisu too!!!)
