Having lived in Bologna for a year, I finally went there tonight for the first time with friends who were visiting. It was an excellent experience, both for the food and the atmosphere! I'll gladly return!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in over 10 years given I'm from Australia but our first visit all those years left a lasting impression to our whole family. We decided to come over to Italy as a last-minute thing to see our daughter and her partner during their travels. the food, atmosphere and experience was as wonderful and amazing as all those years ago.

This place is always a sure thing. The atmosphere is very nice, well-kept, and quiet. The menu is fairly limited but good; I would work a little more on the appetizers and desserts (the tarte tatin was unfortunately burnt). The meat was very good. The waitress was friendly but not always able to give precise answers. It's a shame that the bottle of wine we chose was the last one, and the one after that wasn't up to par. The wine cellar needs checking. Overall, a good experience. They charge a bit, but it's worth it.

09/10/2025: Really nice restaurant, got a table thanks to being there early, otherwise a reservation might be needed. The antipasti was amazing with high quality ham, salami, sun-dried tomatoes and cheese. I also tried the lasagna which was amazing. Can only recommend!
03/10/2025: Found by chance near the station, a very welcoming and rustic place, the owner is very very friendly, kind and helpful, the pasta is delicious, even the Bolognese cutlet, but I didn't manage to take a photo because I devoured it, it is also wheelchair accessible for those who want to taste the flavors of Bologna.
