This place is always a sure thing. The atmosphere is very nice, well-kept, and quiet. The menu is fairly limited but good; I would work a little more on the appetizers and desserts (the tarte tatin was unfortunately burnt). The meat was very good. The waitress was friendly but not always able to give precise answers. It's a shame that the bottle of wine we chose was the last one, and the one after that wasn't up to par. The wine cellar needs checking. Overall, a good experience. They charge a bit, but it's worth it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bologna, especially for their suckling pig. They take great pride in serving the best meals. We’ve been there 4 times, including for 2 birthday dinners, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and cooperative in helping us hide and prepare the surprise cake!

A slice of Romagna in the center of Bologna. Excellent first and second courses, some innovative. I didn't try the desserts... I was too full! 😎

This restaurant charmed us with its cozy decor, its friendly and attentive black-aproned waiters, its relaxed atmosphere, and its soft music (not overpowering like in many other places). We chose the original antipasti assortment, then the slow-cooked roasted suckling pig. Everything was delicious. We couldn't finish, and the waiter offered us a doggy bag, which was much appreciated. Good wines by the glass. As French citizens, we felt as if we were immersed in the Italy we love.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at this historic restaurant, very close to the city center. It's an unexpected gem, with impeccable service, excellent and authentic cuisine, and background music that perfectly complements the ambiance. The staff were enthusiastic about everything, including vegetarian options.

15/10/2025: The food is good but not excellent. I recently ate a very greasy Petroniana with a sauce that tasted like watered-down cream, not parmesan cream as it should be. Microfiltered water costs the same as mineral water, and to finish, a plate of tortellini cost €19... For being so far from the city, it's too expensive.
