We had lunch at Osteria 1 Rosso and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was decent, though some dishes could have been better. The sliced beef, cooked medium, was a bit too dry for my taste. We also tried the truffle eggs, rabbit, and pigeon, which were interesting but didn’t stand out. However, the vegetable soup and tomato soup were excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. A good spot to explore, with some hits and misses.

This tavern offers a truly welcoming and characteristic environment. It is located a stone's throw from Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci. The menu is really well designed: we noticed a perfect combination between tradition and the chef's creativity in proposing interesting dishes and dishes both from a gustatory and visual point of view. Just looking at the images you understand the attention to detail. We tried several things: Crostino Toscano which was basically a cutting board with various crostini (liver, lard and truffle, mushrooms, tomato); then also the Tuscan Antipasto XL with lots of cured meats and cheeses presented together with honey; first, however, we tried one of the best dishes we have ever tasted in our life, namely the Medallions stuffed with ricotta and caramelized onion blended with white wine and crispy bacon, but the Tagliolini with fresh truffles were also incredibly appreciated. To finish, obviously, we also wanted to try the Fiorentina with a side dish of baked potatoes and cannellini beans. We loved absolutely everything! 100% recommended

We arrived outside lunch time and the guys kept the kitchen open for us. They were very kind, welcoming service. The porcini mushroom risotto was really good. Also very interesting wine selection. Typical Tuscan location. My friend and I will definitely be back. Thank you :)

Was a great dinner. We enjoyed it immensely. The food was well prepared and so fresh compared to what we get at home it seems. The tomatoes in the bruschetta actually taste like fresh tomatoes. My wife had the tomato bread soup for her meal and I the pappardelle with boar ragu. We were full and happy. Service was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed the whole experience. 10/10
