Antica Norcineria Orsi In Pistoia

Not to be missed if you want a place to remember pleasantly! This place, typical of downtown Pistoia, is the ideal place both to enjoy an aperitif as a couple and to eat in the company of friends. During the month of July it is possible to listen to live music on several evenings thanks to the Blues City initiative; for those who don't know, Pistoia is second only to Chicago for Blues bands and initiatives related to music with 12 bars. Arduino, the owner of Norcineria Orsi, is the heir of a family specialized in managing cured meats, as per Umbrian tradition: his trattoria has in fact been located here in this little square since 1922! There are not enough descriptions or photos to justify why this place is a must: a must try, you will return. But only if you book, the tables are few to guarantee excellent service and quality.

Wow! Today, we accidentally found this charming restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The owner was incredibly kind and even offered water for our dog, which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed a delicious meal, including Pici and deep-fried zucchini flowers, both of which were exceptional. This place is a great find and I highly recommend it!

Cibo davvero ottimo, pici al ragù e zuppa tipica ("farinata") molto gustosa! accoglienza eccezionale proprio in centro Pistoia. Assolutamente consigliato!

Exquisite dishes, very kind staff and a more than honest price. We tried the black cabbage farinata from the off-menu and the pici with sausage ragù... try it if you have the chance!

Nasce come macelleria ma funge anche da ristorante , i posti dentro sono pochi ma volendo si può mangiare fuori. I proprietari molto gentili ci hanno trovato posto dopo 10 min dal nostro arrivo, e ci hanno deliziato con farinata al cavolo nero , nervetti con le cipolle e una salsiccia norcina. Ottimo!

Excellent quality/price ratio, you can eat well for the right amount. We were three people and we took three first courses (the dishes were plentiful), a side dish, two desserts, a water and a can of coke, we spent €50 in total. The typical dishes are truly exceptional. If we were to end up in these parts again we would definitely return. Very kind and super helpful owners.
