We had lunch as a couple in this historic Norcineria in the center of Pistoia, excellent quality products, very good prices, choice of house or local wine, excellent service and very friendly staff! Really highly recommended!!!

Cozy place, warm, friendly and pleasant staff. The food is spectacular. Chopping boards prepared on the spot and under the eyes of customers. For the first courses, they use fresh pasta.

While passing through Pistoia we came across this pork butchery by pure chance and we had a great time!
Despite the hour, well after 3.30pm, they served us kindly and quickly.
Obviously the cold cuts are king and you can't leave either hungry or disappointed.
Perhaps you could invest in some more comfortable chairs or some larger and more stable tables? Maybe yes but it's not essential...

A pork butchery that gives the opportunity to taste its excellent production, in fact a characteristic trattoria in the historic center of Pistoia, in Piazza della Sala, with the flavor of the good things of the past. We ate inside in front of the cold cuts counter, a farinata with black cabbage, macaroni with duck ragout, livers and fried apples for dessert, all excellent. The owner is an exquisite and friendly person. Super recommended

We had the pleasure of having lunch (twice in two days) at the Norcineria Orsi and discovering the typical flavors of Pistoia. The cutting boards, penne alla norcina and meatballs with sauce are highly recommended! The staff is attentive and kind, and the experience - which has been going on since 1922 - is clear to see!

Not to be missed if you want a place to remember pleasantly!
This place, typical of downtown Pistoia, is the ideal place both to enjoy an aperitif as a couple and to eat in the company of friends. During the month of July it is possible to listen to live music on several evenings thanks to the Blues City initiative; for those who don't know, Pistoia is second only to Chicago for Blues bands and initiatives related to music with 12 bars. Arduino, the owner of Norcineria Orsi, is the heir of a family specialized in managing cured meats, as per Umbrian tradition: his trattoria has in fact been located here in this little square since 1922! There are not enough descriptions or photos to justify why this place is a must: a must try, you will return. But only if you book, the tables are few to guarantee excellent service and quality.
