Antica Locanda da Luca In Viareggio

We were there for the first time, we ate grilled tuna with potatoes Oven, I would say excellent, we also took a menu for two people at €30 each, starter, first course and second course including half a liter of wine. I would say that the portions are generous, the products we ate were really good. The service was also fast. I don't give five stars only because the environment being very full is not very comfortable, as it is a large place but with too many people and therefore a little crowded with each other.

Inspired by the reviews, we chose this restaurant for lunch. We had a fixed menu for Euro 30.00 but the quality of the fish was absolutely low. Very generous portions but unfortunately the quality makes the difference. The place is a little dated and the service is fast and friendly.

Pleasant welcome and environment like in a real inn. Good food and well presented dishes even if not hot as usual but slightly lukewarm. The only feeling that is slightly out of context concerns the service which is too frenetic and does not respect normal times. From the order they served us so quickly that the feeling was of dishes already ready to go out... arriving before the wine. Prices decidedly lower than average. However, I will definitely return to try other dishes...

Recommended place for the goodness of the food (especially appetizers and mixed fried food, which also includes delicious vegetables). Excellent seafood risotto, even if a little overcooked... Very kind staff: especially Gaia, very welcoming and nice.

Real Viareggio food cooked with simplicity and authenticity

Simple but delicious fish dishes. Abundant quantities (even too much) but in the end we ate everything. Fast and competent service.

Nice place, with exposed bricks, many tables, the chef comes to the table to see if everything is ok, generous portions, we took the seafood carbonara for 2 and he brought an exaggerated tray (in Milan for 4 people), cheap prices for the quality and quantity, I recommend it

Il locale di aspetto storico/ retrò ha il suo spazio in una Viareggio anche troppo attenta ad inseguire mode e cifre stratosferiche. Nella fattispecie nulla si può rimproverare nella sostanza… a parte il baccalà un po’ troppo carico di pomodoro.., il suo il locale lo fa ma manca che so lo smalto l’accuratezza… avvolgibili cadenti, atteggiamento sciatto della apparecchiatura, il titolare che si ferma a parlare sulla porta con la porta aperta mentre dentro entra il freddo… così piccole cose che rendono il locale no accogliente e sciatto… eppure secondo me ( modesto parere) basterebbe poco anche perché di un locale con cucina tradizionale ( ben eseguita) ci sarebbe bisogno. A volte basta assaggiare le pietanze cucinate. Dai forza abbiamo bisogno di un locale così ma energico. A presto e in bocca al lupo

Entri in questa locanda e ritorni nel passato, tutto vecchio stile, molto curato, ben tenuto e caratteristico, nessun sfronzolo fuori luogo. Non abbiamo guardato più di tanto la carta, il cameriere Enrico (?), ci ha consigliato sull’appena pescato, ottima scelta, cucina molto buona e tempi d’attesa giusti, da ritornare
