I can only add further compliments to this place, one of the few remaining that not only offers quality raw materials, but even more, dedicates experience and passion to knowing how to cook it.
Many of the dishes presented not only tell the story of the tradition, but also the time it takes to prepare them and the experience of manual skills in the kitchen, so they are worth the price presented!
The place is suggestive, a few meters away is a block of sandstone where you can climb and do via ferratas, one more reason to then stop at the end of the day at the Hosteria Rocca di Badolo

I knew the place because I lived in that area, I went there a couple of times many years ago. Today for my partner's birthday I decided to go back. Excellent choice. We ate very well, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The food is good, but the quality and price aren't quite there
Eating for two, two starters, two second courses, a wine for 18 euros, a dessert and a coffee..........
Spending 120 euros is a bit excessive
Perhaps Borghese brought an exaggerated increase
I repeat that we ate well, but the price is really exaggerated

We celebrated the birthday of two friends at the Antica Hosteria da Badolo in Sasso Marconi, nestled in the Bolognese mountains, and the experience was fantastic. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was the perfect setting for a day of celebration with friends. We tasted the typical dishes of the Emilian tradition: hot and fragrant crescentine accompanied by excellent cold cuts, squacquerone and delicious sauces. The wine was perfect to accompany everything, and the friendliness of the staff made everything even more special. Between good food, laughter and company, it was a lunch that we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended for those who want to live an authentic Bolognese experience!

We ended up here thanks to the participation of this restaurant in Alessandro Borghese's show I 4 restaurants... ate well, game, deer liver and wild boar ribs, very good, Gutturnio wine by the glass, prices not low, but it's worth it for the suggestive location in the true hills of Bologna. Quality raw materials. I'll be back.

Il 1 dicembre ho festeggiato in questo ristorante il mio compleanno (un compleanno “importante”) invitando oltre 20 amici a cui tengo tanto e con i quali volevo fare bella figura e siamo stati benissimo, mangiato in modo eccellente (tortellini in brodo e la torta Badolo indimenticabili) sempre godendo della loro massima attenzione e cura. Ambiente curato con un panorama incredibile. Spero di poter festeggiare con loro ancora altre volte.

Assolutamente delizioso.
Location bellissima, immersa nella natura e facilmente raggiungibile. Servizio perfetto: gentilezza e cortesia, oltre a cordialità e simpatia.
Cibo da 10 e lode: crema di marroni assolutamente da provare, ma abbiamo davvero apprezzato tutto tantissimo.
Sicuramente torneremo e non vedo l’ora! Complimenti!!
