Stories like those of Goliarda Sapienza, an intellectual from Catania little known by her fellow citizens who lived in this neighborhood. Sensational arancini. I've been to Sicily more than 20 times and the arancini at Stella, a real traditional shop just outside the typical tourist routes, are among the tastiest I've ever had. Nice and crispy fried, super stuffed. €2.50 (March 2024).

Sono stato in Questo posto e devo dire che per quanto riguarda il cibo le recensioni positive sono senz’altro confermate. Ho assaggiato la pizza fritta alla siciliana, davvero squisita. Unico gusto di arancino disponibile era al ragù, niente di eccezionale in confronto ad altri arancini mangiati in zona. Crispelle molto buone. Molto curata la location, arredata con gusto. Ora, pur comprendendo che si tratta di una friggitoria, e volendo ancora sottolineare quanto sia graziosa la sala, purtroppo nella stessa si crea una cappa di vapori di frittura che ovviamente rimane impregnata nei vestiti. Quindi un suggerimento… andateci perché si mangia davvero bene ma … non prendete impegni per il post serata perché dovrete tornare a casa per una doccia! Prezzo adeguato all’ottima qualità.
