A very welcoming place, the lady who welcomed us was so kind and helpful in explaining the dishes. The food was truly excellent and authentic. I recommend it to anyone passing through Orvieto who wants a great culinary experience!

Nice location nestled in the heart of Orvieto's old town. The cured meats appetizer was nothing special, the crostini with good lard were good, and the umbrichelli, the quintessential pasta, delicious in any sauce. Here, they were overcooked and the Cacio e Pepe lacked flavor.
The wait was a bit long.

Everything was delicious, including the homemade pasta, which is also gluten-free. The only flaw is that the desserts are a bit pricey compared to the other dishes. Efficient and friendly service.

Everything was good and the prices were reasonable. The portions were perhaps a little small, and the house wine was definitely not drinkable.

Three of us had lunch on New Year's Eve. As soon as we were seated, they brought water for our dog. Not something you'd expect. We tried three different first courses, all excellent, and both the wild boar and Chianina beef stew. These were also delicious. The portions weren't large, but they weren't small either. Prices were moderately high. I'd definitely go back.

This restaurant is run entirely by women, a much-appreciated factor, along with the fact that they were stoically the only ones open in Orvieto on Christmas Eve.
The portions were adequate, not too large. The homemade desserts were truly delicious.
The atmosphere was refined and the staff very friendly.

Everything was very good, but the lady in the kitchen was grumpy. When I complained about the long wait, she not only refused to accept the criticism, but lied.
Nothing to say about the quality of the dishes. The artichokes alla giudia were amazing!
Too bad they don't take criticism seriously.

A beautiful restaurant carved into the tuff rock, dishes that speak Umbrian without shouting, solid, sincere cuisine deeply rooted in the region. The staff are attentive and kind, and we felt welcomed and completely satisfied.

My family and I went to Antica Cantina this summer. It was an unforgettable experience. Given that I'm the only non-celiac in the family, we were all truly satisfied with the simplicity and deliciousness of the dishes we ate. I'm already a fan of traditional food without major reinterpretations, and here, tradition reigns supreme. From the appetizers to the first and second courses, everything was delicious. And my children ate with a smile. A significant plus is the entirely female management. A must-try if you're passing through Orvieto!
