Abbiamo prenotato sotto consiglio del nostro Host e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Cucina tipica Lucana con prodotti di ottima qualità in location molto accogliente e particolare, dentro una grotta. Abbiamo apprezzato tutto dall’antipasto al dolce, servizio efficiente e cordiale, siamo stati coccolati per tutta la cena, il titolare simpaticissimo e molto disponibile, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Conto corretto, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Going down the stairs of one of the main streets you find yourself in this beautiful restaurant. I had the opportunity to eat in the lower part which is the old cistern repurposed into a very suggestive environment.
Friendly staff and excellent wine cellar.
Recommended place also for truly honest prices.

The setting is truly exotic, and the service is fast and friendly. On the other hand, the dishes are not really in keeping with the setting. I took a piece of beef which was clearly not 400g and impossible to have mustard... My partner had veal served in a stew, and that was really disappointing.
Does the setting make up for mediocre food, not for me: if I had to do it again, I wouldn't do it again.

Nice and cozy atmosphere, but the food was merely decent, nothing spectacular, especially for the top-notch food Italian restaurants usually provide. We did not like the small selection of white wines. The dessert was subpar as well (supermarket-style). Service was slow at times.

Nuestro hotel sugirió este restaurante, y no nos decepcionó. Cerca del centro de la antigua ciudad de Matera, está situado en unos pocos niveles en un edificio antiguo con algunas de las mesas en cueva - como esquinas. Todo lo que probamos era delicioso, el servicio era muy amable, y los precios - razonable.
