The coffee was very good and the ice creams were one of the richest we tried in Rome, the girl who served us was very friendly.

Angelo Feroci ha conquistato perfino una vegetariana come me, con una vetrina di verdure e gastronomia in genere che è raro trovare a Roma, soprattutto in centro. In aggiunta alla carne, per il quale il negozio è giustamente famoso, si scopre infatti un’ampia varietà di verdure cucinate, squisite, e di gastronomia in genere, che consente di mangiare sano (e con grande gusto) in pausa pranzo o a cena. Imballaggio da asporto a prova di condimento, servizio sempre veloce e garbato, insomma un punto di riferimento sicuro.

Very kind, everything was excellent

A lovely stumble upon on our way to the Colosseum. We struggled our way through speaking Italian at the counter and I thought it was very interesting! Very friendly and patient counter attedant.

It is a butcher shop that will surprise you. It is located in Via della Maddalena, right in front of the beautiful baroque church of St Mary Magdalene, not far from the Pantheon. What is most attractive are undoubtedly the ready-to-cook dishes. Almost all quality butchers have them. But here we are on a higher level, with traditional Roman recipes as handed down by grandmothers and aunts. The vegetable rolls with bacon and pine nuts, for example, and then the stuffed artichokes. Unique in flavour. Quality meat, fine cuts, deli, delicacies, food. Unique in its kind. Even in the furnishings which are still the original marble ones from the early twentieth century. It is certainly also among the most expensive butcher shops in Rome, but we assure you that it is a wonderful experience (even if you enter without buying, just looking is already a true culinary inspiration). On display are a variety of the best meats (Italian, Argentinian, etc), and an excellent assortment of ready-to-cook dishes e.g. stuffed courgettes, meatballs with courgette flowers, "straccetti" with porcini mushrooms, chicken Cacciatora, lasagne and baked pasta or beef fillet with Colonnata lard. All truly delicious!! Enjoy your meal.
