I went here with the love of my life! Da Angelina is a quaint seafood spot just off the main waterfront of Trieste. The space itself is homey and warm, filled with visitors' notes all along the walls. The service and our waitress, who didn't speak much English but who accomodated our minimal Italian well, was quick. The fish we got was fresh, but not super flavorful. The cod with polenta was flavorful, but the fish was a bit tough. The fry platter definitely needed a sauce. I would have like to see more vegetables on the menu as well. A lot of shellfish on the menu, if that's your cup of oyster sauce!

A seafood restaurant just steps from the town center and the port. Friendly staff and traditional, flavorful seafood cuisine, without too many frills. Fair prices, appropriate for the setting.

Hands down this was the best seafood meal I had in during my stay in Trieste. I absolutely love pasta with clam sauce. Da Angelina makes an absolutely stunning version using a range of local seafood with a deep satisfying and authentic taste. The environment is that of a local trattoria and it is relaxing and welcoming as are the staff. I only wish I lived closer!

The place is small but very cute, so it's always a good idea to book.
We had the house mixed antipasto, which was simply superb. For the main course, fried and grilled calamari, both excellent.
The staff is friendly and approachable.
The prices are average, but considering the quality, I'd say they're good.
The only downside was that it was a bit too hot.
There are fans, but without air conditioning, it's a bit tough.
In any case, I highly recommend it 😀

Estábamos retrasados y cansados y nuestro hotel recomendó la Angelina. Estaba cerca, ocupado, pero la bienvenida era cálida y tenían una mesa para nosotros. Verdadera comida italiana con un fuerte enfoque de mariscos. Nos encantó y dejamos bien alimentado y restaurado listo para explorar Trieste. Ya hemos recomendado a otros.

Locale molto piccolo e particolare. Tipica hostaria nell'arredamento. Menù pesce.
Noi abbiamo mangiato il loro antipasto misto e lo consigliamo.
Ottimi gli spaghetti alle vongole, anche la pasta fatta in casa con pesto, pomodorini e gamberetti.
Buono il fritto di calamari.
Porzioni normali.
Piatti cucinati bene e con materie prime di qualità. Nonostante i piatti fossero saporiti ci hanno fatto riposare bene senza bisogno di avere la bottiglia dell'acqua a portata.
Prezzi adeguati al menù pesce.
Personale molto gentile.
A pochi passi da Piazza Unità d'Italia.
