03/01/2025: I visited with a Sicilian friend and it was a great lunch. I ordered insalata della nonna (grandma's salad) and grigliata mista di cavallo (grilled horse meat platter), both of which were very delicious and reasonably priced! Horse meat has a low fat content, but is sweet and tender, making it a specialty of Catania. The horse meat platter includes sausages, meatballs, steak, and more for less than 10 euros! Prices in Catania are lower than in mainland Italy, so you'll want to eat a lot of different things. The salad consists of tomatoes and onions topped with ricotta cheese, which is also a specialty of Catania. This is a restaurant I would like to visit again when I go to Catania.

29/12/2024: We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and were told that the waiting time would be minimal, but unfortunately that wasn't the case, so I give 4 stars for the wait. The service was also a little slow: when we sat down, there was only one waitress in the room, who didn't immediately notice us taking the order. That being said, the food was really great! Generous portions and very tasty dishes, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients. Despite the wait, the quality of the food certainly made up for the small initial mix-up. I will definitely be back to enjoy their dishes again!
