For me this was my baptism with gourmet sandwiches and, as I write this short review, I think about how much I would like to return to Alvolo tomorrow evening to try a new dish on the menu. I am still struck by my experience in this place, a true 360 ​​degree discovery, from the food, to the drinks, to the location up to the friendliness of the owners! To start, we had a pasta omelette with Chianina ragù, a bomb of flavour! Then we moved on to them, the great protagonists, the sandwiches: I took the one filled with creamed cod, potato rosti and caramelized onions. Excellent! I don't have much to add, just try it. The friend with me instead took a huge sandwich full of Neapolitan meatballs and cheese, which was also approved. We couldn't help but conclude with a beermisú (beer tiramisu) with the best homemade mascarpone cream I've eaten in Lombardy. I also point out a good amount of craft beers in the area. Congratulations to everyone, experiences like these are very rare! Until next time.

Cozy place in the city centre, ideal for a quiet break or informal dinner. Fast service and friendly, smiling waiters. Those who start well (pasta omelette with Chianina ragù and with cheese and pepper), sandwiches to love (e'purpett and porcello bello) and to end on a sweet note (chocolate salami with salted caramel) were all tasty and prepared with raw materials excellent quality firsts. All preceded by a good spritz. The quality of the food justifies the prices.

An excellent place to enjoy a sandwich or even a hot dish accompanied by a good beer or glass of wine. Friendly staff with rather fast service even when the place is full. The prices may seem high but it is now the norm for this type of place. I will definitely go back.
