I don't usually write reviews, but this place really deserves it.
We stumbled upon this truly beautiful and meticulously maintained restaurant on the harbor by chance.
We ate really well.
As a lover of raw fish, I can honestly say it was truly delicious, and the chef's combinations are truly excellent... even the exquisite desserts.
The staff is truly kind, attentive, and always ready to offer excellent service and advice... we had the pleasure of being served by Antonio in particular... in short, you feel truly pampered.
Highly recommended!

A splendid venue nestled in a stunning setting. Dishes are carefully prepared, fresh, and presented with care. The service is courteous, attentive, and organized. Prices are absolutely reasonable (even with a substantial final discount) and coffee is included.
They treated us to a wonderful evening!

For some reason, when you order fish, you get literally just the fish and a tiny amount of lettuce leaves around it. No vegetables, no side dishes.

We visited Almyra restaurant on Saturday evening, having made a reservation in the afternoon, specifying a table outside. Upon our arrival, however, we were assigned a table under the portico, claiming that all the outside tables were already booked. Nevertheless, we dined and finished the evening with the outside tables still completely empty, which left us genuinely perplexed.
Another point to note concerns the menu: my son ordered paccheri, but it didn't indicate the inclusion of chopped pistachios, an ingredient he would have gladly avoided.
Finally, the service charge is quite high, which we didn't find justified given the overall experience.
It's a shame, because the restaurant has potential, but some aspects of customer service could definitely be improved.

A truly superb experience 😍
We arrived in a state of excitement for our evening meal. We felt a bit pressured by the service, but everything went well.
We ordered:
- 2 spritzers
- 2 starters
- 1 bottle of local white wine
- 1 starter to share
- 1 fish from the day's catch to share
- 2 desserts
- 2 digestifs (free)
€157 ☺️
The server was very efficient; he knows his job inside and out.
The owner came to chat with us.

The restaurant is located 15 km from Ortigia. I recommend a taxi or car for transportation. The occasion for visiting the restaurant was special. I noted my birthday in the reservation. I was hoping that the staff would serve a symbolic piece of cake with a candle?! Unfortunately, Italians are far from the Greeks in terms of service! The atmosphere is pleasant overall, the pasta with sea urchin is delicious, unlike the fried seafood! There is much more to be desired in terms of attitude and cuisine!
