Alle Roncole In Busseto

Well-maintained historic building. Very quaint rooms, but the bathrooms could use a makeover. Good breakfast and excellent lunch. The building is adjacent to Versi's house.

I always go there when I'm in the area. The place is a historic restaurant in the center of the village, serving typical local food. Everything is absolutely excellent! For me, it's always worth the trip.

This typical Parma restaurant located in Roncole Verdi, in the province of Parma, has private parking and ample space inside. For this occasion, we opted for a mixed cured meats with torta fritta (fried cake), made with truly excellent ingredients, although the gnocco portion was a bit small. To continue, I ordered excellent anolini stuffed with stew and Parmesan fondue. Gutturnio from the Poggiarello winery accompanied the dish, and torta inglese (English cake) to finish. A truly positive experience and friendly staff.

We spent a week in Busseto as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Since restaurants in rural Italy have very individual opening hours, we were fortunate enough to discover the Locanda Alle Roncole. From our first visit, we were so impressed by the simple, traditional country inn and its cuisine that we returned several evenings. The Locanda is run by the owner family, and the entire family works diligently in their own inn. The warmth and genuine hospitality are evident in many details. Guests can choose between two options: - Restaurant with fine dining and a correspondingly extensive menu - Pizzeria with tasty, simple dishes with the option of daily specials. We chose the pizzeria because we wanted to be among locals and enjoyed the wonderfully fresh dishes on the daily specials. The offer includes a choice of several starters and main courses, as well as a large bottle of water per person and a dessert. The dishes are freshly cooked and prepared to a high standard, and the portions are generous. In Italy, we learned to appreciate daily specials—depending on the restaurant, of course. This option is definitely a good choice at Locanda Alle Roncole. We felt very comfortable at this inn and can highly recommend Alle Roncole.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa locanda per tre notti; eravamo una compagnia di 11 persone e tutti possiamo dire che siamo stati benissimo grazie all’accoglienza, alla gentilezza e generosità dei proprietari e di tutto il personale. Alla sera abbiamo cenato lì e abbiamo mangiato in abbondanza piatti tipici buonissimi. Consigliatissimo e da ritornarci!!!!

Unfortunately I can't separate the reviews. As for the restaurant, very good! Fresh products and fast service, the menu is almost all gluten-free, which is why we decided to stay here on our motorcycle trip. The inn or hotel, unfortunately, is a bit dated and the breakfast is a bit sparse even for those who don't have intolerances to bagged biscuits, croissants and yogurt. For gluten-free I didn't find any options even though I was told it was available, in any case, being in a hurry to leave we didn't even ask so it's possible that it will be given on request.

Ambiente semplice ma curato. Piatti tipici della tradizione parmense veramente gustosi. Locale convenzionato con AIC: personale attento, molta scelta e piatti ottimi. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Esperienza assolutamente da rifare.
