08/02/2026: The experience was positive. There's a good variety of appetizers, first courses, and meat dishes, all tasty and visually appealing, with a decent selection of seasonal vegetables. The usual eggplant, zucchini, and peppers, even in winter, are a bit out of place with the seasonality. Perhaps purple cabbage, fennel, or leeks could be au gratin. A mix of chard, chicory, and sautéed potatoes, cauliflower au gratin with béchamel sauce, and much more could be some options, and they can be prepared in advance. The dessert menu is immense, but neither the strudel (lacking in flavorings) nor the tiramisu (not very creamy) that I tried convinced me. The place is clean and well-kept. You can see the modern touch, but it still has that vintage feel. The service staff is kind and attentive, and the wait times between courses are adequate. I will definitely be back to try more.
06/02/2026: We visited Trattoria Pizzeria Al Grappolo for the first time this Wednesday, and I was pleasantly surprised by everything!
The Food:
We ate divinely. The raw ham appetizer was spectacular and of excellent quality. We continued with delicate and flavorful pumpkin gnocchi, followed by an excellent mixed grill, accompanied by grilled vegetables and the truly delicious "sapori ortolani" medallions. To round things off, a superb tiramisu, one of the best I've ever had, and an excellent strudel.
The Service:
The service was impeccable: very professional, kind, and competent. Special praise goes to the expert waiter who served us, demonstrating great dedication and attentiveness.
The Atmosphere:
The location has a somewhat retro style, but the atmosphere is truly charming, intimate, and welcoming.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality and courtesy. I will definitely be back!
