26/01/2025: Enchanting place nestled in the green hills of Friuli. It is worth coming here to eat both in summer sitting at the tables on the terrace and in winter in the internal room heated by the fireplace. To start, you cannot miss tasting their mixed appetizers which vary and adapt depending on the season, always prepared with typical local products (e.g. musetto in crust, pumpkin flan with Montasio fondue, champignon mushrooms stuffed with parsley, brovada and sausage , chicory and anchovy salad and much more…). To continue, both the first and second courses are excellent. They often offer refined and interesting off-menu dishes, such as stuffed quail or rabbit cooked in a pan. To close the meal, the desserts offered are all homemade, with the exception of the gubana.

03/01/2025: We had a bit of a slow service as the place was full. The food was good, but not aligned to the price. The ‘battuta’ had little sides and they didn’t bring oil, salt or pepper to add to it. The Tagliata was hard like the bottom of a shoe. Other guests also didn’t enjoy the service and the food. It used to be much better, and hopefully it was just a bad day.
