A little gem in the heart of Portogruaro. A cozy little spot (especially if you eat on the terrace!), excellent service, friendly staff, tasty dishes even for those of us with food intolerances, and fair prices. Recommended!

We had the pleasure of lunch today at this spectacular restaurant, which we stumbled upon while wandering around the historic center. The courtesy we encountered is truly rare these days. Portogruaro was our half way stop for lunch and I had found Alla Barchessa - down an ally beside a little canal. A lovely, probably family run, Osteria, specialising in seafood, as most of them here are. I had Homemade Tagliolini pasta with seafood - it was the best - and I could have eaten 2 bowls of it easily! And the old man had a steak! I ask you - in a seafood restaurant - he can be so embarrasing! Nevertheless he did pronounce it Perfetto !! The food was perfection and authenticly served with warmth from the family. The location is delightful, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and it's calming atmosphere was perfect for us to enjoy in the middle of our traveling day. This is definitely worth a visit as the relaxation and calmness comes for free! Thank you for having us.

La storia un perito elettronico appena diplomato con la passione per la cucina un padre Mauro , impiegato,che crede nei sogni del figlio e molla il lavoro e aiuta il figlio a realizzare il suo sogno.
