Alice In Bologna

It was recommended to us and luckily for us we had such a great time that we had dinner there two nights in a row. The service is excellent and not only with regular customers. The appetizer at the buffet is excellent, the only problem is the abundance and therefore you risk not enjoying the other courses. I tried the risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms and I must admit that I had never eaten anything so good. The other first courses are also truly spectacular. Maybe a few more grams could have been added, but the taste makes up for everything. Prices absolutely in relation to the quality. If you are passing through Bologna and want to eat well outside the tourist norm, then try the Alice restaurant.

One of the best meals we had in Italy. Dined there 24 years ago and recently returned. The food and service was fantastic.

Ottima esperienza a cena. Abbiamo iniziato con l’antipasto misto x 2 persone, abbondante e di ottima qualità. abbiamo proseguito con tartare di manzo, anch’essa molto buona, e insalata di carciofi. Infine dolce al cioccolato con mascarpone. Abbiamo diviso mezzo litro di ottimo sangiovese. Servizio amichevole e molto preciso. Conto nella norma. Siamo usciti molto soddisfatti.

Typical Bolognese cuisine without frills or reinterpretations, excellent value for money. Courteous and helpful owner and staff. I advise. (It doesn't have much space so you need to book in advance)

Cozy ristorante with kind staff. Funny that they gave the purse a chair. Unfortunately due to miscommunication when we wanted to make 46 euros -> 50 euros, they thought we meant splitting the bill (we figured that on the way home) so we were both confused and ended up giving no extra tip. So if you are reading this, we are sorry and wanted to tip but there was a miscommunication :(.

We had some excellent tortellini in parmesan cream, large tortelloni with ricotta, butter and sage, roast beef, space-age sautéed chicory🚀🛸🪐👩🏽‍🚀 Thank you with all my heart!

I decided to celebrate my birthday in this very famous place in Bologna! The typical warmth of family management was the icing on the cake for this beautiful evening. Starting from the telephone reservation, Oscar was super friendly and suggested what I could offer my guests to celebrate in the best possible way. They carry out two shifts, the first at around 7.30pm and the second at 9.30pm. Clearly he suggested the second round as it was more lively, with lots of music that you could sing at the top of your lungs with the nearby tables. The day before the appointment my daughter called me back to confirm the number of guests and to communicate any diets/intolerances. She was super nice and I felt all the love there is for this job. I must say that each dish can be modified in favor of vegetarian and vegan diets (the latter being more difficult). At a table of 7 people we took 3 house starters to share and we could never have made a better choice! Followed by a first course each although the mixed starter had fully satisfied all of us... wonderful! With our bellies so full, unfortunately we weren't able to get the mix of desserts... all the more reason to return! The environment is small but welcoming. You can sense the air of a trattoria and love for sport. The Virtussians have the upper hand! I would recommend it both for groups of friends after the match and for a romantic date. And maybe that's the beauty of it! Next time I would like to book the table (about 10 seats) on the mezzanine floor as it is more intimate but absolutely not isolated! Thanks to the whole family for the good food and for entertaining us all evening with top music!
