As the name suggests, there is a focus on middle eastern food. All our food was delicious and well presented. The staff were all really friendly. We'd tried to go there without booking one night and ended up booking for the next night, so I'd recommend booking, at least in the busy tourist season. They have a good selection of reasonably priced wines

The location is excellent, away from the chaos and close to the sea. The service is kind and punctual. We tasted an appetizer of tartare, a second course of octopus (al mattone) and the swordfish rolls. In my opinion the various condiments overpower the flavor of the fish too much, but maybe it's just a personal taste

After a week in Sicily, without a doubt the best value for money we have had. Classic dishes are revisited with original condiments and others are truly unique, mention for the incredibly elaborate rose alevante for €18. And what's more, the best grill I've tasted so far Well done keep it up

A restaurant that I really recommend. The staff is very nice and the dishes are delicious, we want to taste everything 😅 Very good value for money.

Nothing to say about the friendliness of the managers and all the staff. I have rarely found such attentive and courteous staff. Truly commendable, I thank them again. The place is delightful, in an excellent position, on the sea with a view of the Maniace castle. The food is all of high quality and well served, both from the point of view of plating and as regards the search for recipes. Excellent dessert. I gave 4 stars to the food category only because the first courses were either less tasty than we expected (like the spaghetti mixed with squid ink with sea urchins and stracciatella) or too elaborate and "heavy" (like the durum wheat pasta with tuna and pistachio, as delicious as it is!). However, a restaurant you absolutely must try!

We went as a family of 5 and really loved our experience. Lovely welcome and a great setting away from crowds with the view of old fort that lights at night. Started of raw tuna and prawn was lovely as was all the pasta. Wanted to try more dishes! Thanks for having us

Ristorantino ad Ortigia situato in un punto bellissimo e panoramico dell’isola. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Peccato che nonostante abbia detto all’inizio di avere prenotato con The Fork, hanno segnalato che non ci siamo presentati. Spero si risolva presto. In ogni modo, lo consigliamo.

Perfect location on the waterfront overlooking Maniace Castle, aLevante is far removed from Ortigia’s tourist hordes. The food is sublime and the service is gracious and efficient. Highly recommended dining experience.
