Delicious Great spot for delicious Sicilian food and excellent service. Popular, so reservations are recommended. The mussels and tiramisu are standout dishes. Only drawback is the nearby residential parking, but overall a lovely dining experience. A solid choice for quality Sicilian cuisine with friendly service. Would definitely return!

aLevante Restaurant, located on the seafront of the island of Ortigia away from the crowd. The menu features classics like burrata, pasta and fish. The portions are big. Although the pasta was delicious the fish was not. Desserts were very good.

A must-see every time we go to Ortigia. Highly recommended!

Excellent meal in a glorious setting by the sea - it’s been very hot so the sea breeze was a very welcome addition The waiter was very attentive and friendly and we tried 2 glasses of different white wines - both very good He looked after us well The starter of mussels in a tomato sauce ( Di Cozze) was amazing - we shared it The tomato sauce is the best I have ever tasted - it had a hint of chilli and lemon ? preserved lemon - just adored it - glad there was lots of bread to mop it all up !! We had pasta as mains - my husband had the spaghettoni quadri alla moresca and I had the squid ink spaghetti - both fantastic - pasta cooked al dente Unfortunately had no room for dessert - maybe next time !!

The restaurant is in Ortigia, in a small clearing on the seafront with outdoor tables and an enchanting view. Refined cuisine, but without going overboard in gourmet...with good quality products, well presented dishes and also fairly generous portions. It is not typical Sicilian cuisine, no...but in many dishes the ingredients used are. I ate a tasty Ciceri e Tria (from Puglia) and then some delicious swordfish rolls (these are Sicilian). Good service from start to finish. Excellent wine list, but honestly too expensive. Even the quality-price ratio, although in line with Ortigia, in my opinion is a bit salty. For these two reasons I do not give 5 stars...but it certainly satisfied me and I would return...therefore I absolutely feel like recommending it.

It was delicious and the portions were huge

We had a seabass filet and like a carbonara with mussels. Pasta was good but the seabass filet was a tiny portion for that price.

Wir suchen normale gute Pasta .. aber die Karte ist leider zu kreiert .. Zuviele Zutaten und Gerichte die nicht authentisch schmecken , Service ist sehr nett, Platz auch

Un pranzo davvero SPETTACOLARE! Eravamo già stati qui, un po’ di anni fa e anche stavolta non hanno deluso le nostre aspettative. Piatti ricercatissimi, presentazione meravigliosa, porzioni generose e sapori davvero squisiti. Gli ingredienti sono di primissima qualità e c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta sul menù perché tutti i piatti sono davvero particolari ed invitanti. Abbiamo pranzato all’esterno, nonostante fossimo a dicembre (le magie della Sicilia!). I proprietari e i camerieri sono persone calorose, attente e super professionali. È stata un’esperienza davvero splendida che di certo ripeteremo più e più volte!
