Don't stay in Como, stay here. The food, the service, the ambience. Cannot fault anything. Additionally the ferry is every 30 mins so you can easily explore the surrounding towns and villages. Will 100% come again

We came her as the driver told us its a hidden gem . The view was phenomenal and we chose to eat lunch at this hotel and it was a great pick ! Great service we feel very welcomed and warm ! Delicious dishes i recommend to eat anything with fish

We were out on a trip and visited the small village of Torno when we walked through the stone-enclosed and magical little streets we came down to a small harbor you could probably call it, right down by the water is the hotel and restaurant Vapore which we curiously went into and WOW! we were warmly welcomed in and nicely looked after by the fantastically nice staff, the table we were assigned was absolutely fantastic as if taken straight from a Bond movie! Once we had ordered the food it didn't take long for us to get it to the table and it was just as fantastic as the view and the surroundings, the chefs really know what they are doing! It was well balanced and delicious in every way. The dessert was also absolutely wonderful! The price for everything we ordered was definitely not dangerously expensive but slightly more expensive than what can be found in the area but it was worth every penny! Highly recommend this place!!! 10/10

A real favorite! 💫 This bistro restaurant is a wonderful discovery: everything was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. The service is impeccable, the waiters are attentive, professional, and very kind. The setting is romantic and peaceful, with a sublime view of Lake Como. You can hear the gentle sound of the waves, admire the mountains, and admire a magnificent sunset... a truly postcard-perfect setting. The wine list is very well-chosen, the dishes are refined, and the cheese selection... to die for! 🧀 Of course, the prices are a little higher than in other small restaurants in the city, but the experience is well worth it. Thank you for this wonderful time!

What a lovely stopover on the shores of Lake Como. The hotel is very well located with a direct view of the lake from our room. A very pleasant welcome, despite our late arrival. The family room was well-appointed, with very high-quality memory foam bedding. A hotel that truly deserves an extra star. A simple and efficient breakfast with quality products. We highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at Hotel Vapore — it’s one of those places where you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The staff are outstanding: Manager/Sommelier Osman makes dinner memorable, and host Maria runs everything with warmth and care, and servers like Murat and the whole team treat you like family. The location is perfect — right in front of the port, so catching the aqua taxi is easy. Note: it’s not directly accessible by car; you park above and walk down some steps, but if you’re visiting the Lake Como area, expect a few steps everywhere — it’s part of the charm! The hotel even has a vehicle that runs up and down to help with your luggage, which makes things so much easier, especially with kids. They were super friendly and accommodating with my daughter — that personal touch makes all the difference. Even though many famous people have stayed here, they make every guest feel like a VIP. The restaurant is cozy, with a well-chosen small menu and an unbeatable view — a perfect spot to unwind after a day on the lake. Warm, family-friendly, perfectly located — highly recommended, and we’d stay here again without a doubt!

Beautiful restaurant, great location, and fantastic views. The waiters were very friendly, and we and our dog were warmly welcomed at lunch, even without a reservation. The food was classic Italian and very delicious.
