Old-fashioned hotel in its original form. Location located near the railway (noisy day and night). Expensive restaurant compared to the quality of the dishes. Not great.

Historic hotel in Villafranca, clean and welcoming rooms. The bathroom is small, but it's okay. There is no air conditioning, but an excellent ceiling fan, which did its job. We slept well at night. Unfortunately it doesn't offer breakfast, but there is a nice bar nearby so no problem. Personally I had a good time, I think I will return.

We tried their very typical restaurant and lovely people. Very clean establishments and we ate really well!! And most of the dishes are homemade.

Mega Hotel!! Totally fair prices, the hotel as well as the delicious and regional food. It was clean too! The staff and especially the owner are lovely and helpful. English knowledge is also less available :) The location is a bit remote, but super nice especially the river (great for swimming) which is a 3 minute walk away. You can also take the train to the city of “La Spezia” in just 30 minutes.

You enter another time, it was like this 40 years ago, and today it is the same. An atmosphere that has unfortunately been lost in almost all restaurants, those that were once called "trattorie".

I ate very well here and my son-in-law slept the night before the wedding and it was great!!!

Typical local food with excellent raw materials and good hospitality

I'm only talking about the restaurant I went to yesterday. Cozy and familiar place. Generous and satisfying portions. The lady who serves the tables ex Mr. Giancarlo pleasant and courteous people. We'll see again.

Traditional cuisine from times gone by, good prices. I liked it a lot

A jewel set in time. I was a guest of Mr. Giancarlo for two days with my family (two adults and a 4 year old) and we had a great time. The rooms are large, bright, spotless and well heated. The restaurant offers delicious typical home cooking. The welcome is kind and pleasant. The owner is always available and present without ever being intrusive. The table service is very kind, especially with small children, and fast. In short, a stay that warmed our hearts. Thank you all for the great experience.
