Restaurant where you can eat à la carte or choose one of the numerous menus offered. The dishes are those of the Monferrato tradition, with dishes such as Russian salad, mixed fry, finanziera, boiled meat, tajarin with rabbit sauce and agnolotti as a pleasant alternative to the more common ravioli dal plin. Not a very long menu, as I like, and I really liked the proposal: I found it in line with tradition and at the same time a little less homologated to the Piedmontese menu offered in most restaurants. The wine list is solid, with wines that cover the Piedmont area well and bottles for all tastes, including some half bottles and wines by the glass. The restaurant has a beautiful, well-furnished dining room, set with fabric tablecloths and a complete set of cutlery and glasses. The chairs are comfortable and the tables discreetly spaced. The room also has a beautiful window that gives light to the room.

Siamo stati al Ristorante Cocconago con un gruppo numeroso, circa 20 persone, e nonostante la complessità, lo staff è stato gentilissimo e super disponibile per tutta la serata. Abbiamo ordinato un po’ di tutto: antipasti, primi, secondi, e ovviamente piatti con il tartufo — tutto molto buono e ben presentato. Il servizio è stato rapido e attento, senza mai farci mancare nulla. L’atmosfera del locale è calda e curata, perfetta per cene tra amici o in famiglia. Anche il conto è stato onesto, soprattutto considerando la qualità delle materie prime. Un’ottima esperienza, da ripetere.

Abbiamo aderito al bagna cauda day nei giorni della merla. Per me era la prima volta al cannon d'oro. Locali molto puliti e confortevoli, personale gentilissimo e professionale, cibo ottimo: bagna cauda come si deve, vasto assortimento di verdure e l'albese squisita. Un' amica ha preferito la versione eretica. Dopo il dolce abbiamo chiuso con Barolo chinato e perle di cioccolato fondente. Bravi
