I stayed at Villa Nencini and was truly thrilled. The location is perfect: just steps from the historic center of Volterra, yet nestled in a tranquil setting with a splendid view of the Tuscan hills. The property has an authentic charm, with spaces that retain the typical atmosphere of a Tuscan villa. The rooms are comfortable and clean, some with truly breathtaking panoramic views. A highlight is definitely the pool, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always ready to welcome you with a smile and offer helpful advice to make the most of your stay. In short, Villa Nencini is the ideal place for those seeking authenticity and relaxation, all just steps from the wonders of Volterra. I will definitely be back!

A lovely hotel for relaxing. About a 5-minute walk to the center of Volterra. We booked with breakfast included. Breakfast was okay, but the service left something to be desired. Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

Excellent property surrounded by greenery. The only drawback: breakfast could offer fresh local products and avoid packaged jams, frozen croissants, and the like.

Beautiful view and convenient location with free parking outside the property. The shower has no tray, so the bathroom floods quickly and is also dangerous. The non-slip mat is unusable because it blocks the already inadequate shower drain, as the drain was most likely partially blocked by hair. The bathroom furnishings, unlike the bedroom, which had a more classic style, are very 1980s-style and not very functional (the toilet seat doesn't open fully and remains tilted forward). The room did not have air conditioning, contrary to what was stated when booking; instead, there was a tiny bedside fan. The power outlet next to the bed stopped working once the lights were turned off, making it unusable. The breakfast was sparse and not of the highest quality, not to mention that the breakfast hours were quite limited compared to other hotels (7:30-9:30), especially considering that check-out is until 10:30.

Stunning views, after a long drive. Food was delicious, was told to try the wild boar and it didn't disappoint. Relaxed, friendly service from the whole team.

What a beautiful place to stay! We arrived without great expectations and spent two nights there – it ended up being one of the most beautiful hotels on our Tuscany trip. The staff, in particular, were incredibly welcoming, and the dinner was lovingly prepared and simply delicious. It's truly special to offer such a wonderful dinner for a small number of guests. The breakfast was also very good, with a lovely selection and the option to sit outside – with a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside.
