I've been frequenting this oasis of food, wine, and tranquility for over 25 years. It remains one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I never imagined such a delicious and elaborate slow food menu would be served in such a remote location. Typically, a mix of cured meats with Russian salad, carpaccio (the best), one or two first courses (excellent stew ravioli), and for the second course, I recommend braised beef in Barolo. The Oltrepò wines are also very good. The menu varies (not much) depending on the season (even cod and stockfish). All the spaces (and rooms) are furnished in a rustic, welcoming style. Cleanliness reigns supreme. The two fireplaces in the reception area and the dining room make everything even more pleasant and picturesque. You can tell the owners are PASSIONATE. Thanks Marisa and Annalisa PS. It's also ideal for sports enthusiasts (especially mountain biking and hiking) as it's ideal for food and wine lovers. From the restaurant (840 meters above sea level), a beautiful trail (a dirt road, mostly through the woods, with easy climbs) leads up to the Laguione refuge (1,570 meters above sea level), a pleasant 4-4.5-hour hike (approximately 18-19 km).

I stayed for a weekend. The hotel was very nice and clean. The owner was super helpful and kind. I recommend it 100%.

Good food, family atmosphere in the Curone Valley hills
