A homey place, very kind and hospitable. The food wasn't the best, but it's fine for a stop every now and then!

People definitely come here on purpose, because there is hardly anyone in the small village. However, the restaurant is cozy, the food is good, and the staff is nice.

A quiet place where you can breathe easily on the hottest days. Add to that the food here is good, and the dishes are traditional Marche dishes. We've hit the mark. The establishment is a bit worn down by its glorious past. Luckily, Poggio has NORMA.

A historic place and certainly one of the main attractions of the fantastic Poggio San Romualdo... unfortunately, I can only give it 3 stars because it could improve in so many ways: the exterior is now dilapidated, the interior is a bit more refined but still old-fashioned (which isn't a bad thing, but at least the bathrooms could use a makeover), and the menu's prices are slightly above average, which are acceptable for the quantity and quality of the first courses, but the second courses are absolutely out of line. The takeout option is convenient, although the wait is long and prices have also risen recently (€10 for a first course, €15 for a second course). Friendly service, but it's a shame about the truly exorbitant waiting times: with the place only half full, we finished eating from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, with quite a few things forgotten... it could use a little more attention, because the potential to recreate a top-notch restaurant is there.
