Proprio un bel locale in piazzetta centrale di Varenna, con una bella veranda e tanti tavolini all esterno. Buona la pizza, camerieri veloci nel servizio.

Totally great hotel not sure what the low reviews are about. The staff are kind and very helpful. The continental breakfast was absolutely great and plenty of it. I took a single room and have absolutely no complaints for the price. I booked through Agoda and stayed in early July but the price was still great although likely higher and higher as the tourists arrive in droves and prices go up, but this is the fault of tourists crowding into Lake Como and all the accommodation in the area is the same. Perfect location to get the ferry early and beat the crowds.

Great location, nice staff but very basic room and overpriced

Due to certain circumstances, she was forced to urgently look for a place to stay for the night. I am very glad that I came across this hotel. The very friendly young man at the reception was pleasant to talk to and helped with everything we needed. The rooms are small but very clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the soft bedding and disposable hygiene kits in the bathroom. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The location of the hotel is ideal, and the port is only a 5-minute walk away. Great experience

Please do not be discouraged from booking because of the 3-star title. Yes, the rooms are very basic. However, you are in such a prime location. The beauty is within the town, not the hotel. The staff were so kind and so helpful and the rooms were stocked with all the amenities. It is a 5-minute walk from the train station and a 5-minute walk (maybe even less) from the water.

Small rooms, small bathroom but great location and good breakfast. Maybe it’s good value for money compared to other hotels in the area but it is not a 3 start hotel. Maybe 2 star.

The location is in the best place, everything is conveniently close. Friendly and smiling staff.
