The room was clean and of a decent standard, of course in the atmosphere of an old tenement house. Very nice staff, daily room service. There are many different ways to sit.

Very convenient hotel, a short downhill walk from the train station and just steps from the Varenna ferry dock and town center. Excellent staff who were very accommodating to my change in plans to avoid an Italian rail strike. Great breakfast as well.

Stopped in the bar for espresso. So convenient and delicious. The bar is right across the street from our Airbnb!

Lovely staff. Very clean room. You get what you pay for - as in the room is small and it’s not the Four Seasons. Very close to ferry and everything you need for a short trip.

Proprio un bel locale in piazzetta centrale di Varenna, con una bella veranda e tanti tavolini all esterno. Buona la pizza, camerieri veloci nel servizio.

Service efficace, serveurs aimable. La terrasse est agréable. Les salades que nous avons pris étaient sans plus et la mozzarella sans goût

07/12/2024: I didn't have a bad meal, the dishes were above all, given the period they were served hot I can't expect anything with a €15 menu and I must say that in the end I ate reasonably well. The environment should absolutely be re-adapted with a few more cleaning precautions, especially on the windows, ornaments etc.. a little background music wouldn't hurt just so you don't hear the conversations at the table next to you. The positive thing is that there are several choices in the work menu. Well done, don't stop at the usual 2/3 first or second courses... The girl at the top table
