We loved the restaurant!
From the moment we arrived, the service was cordial and very friendly. The young man who served us (I think he's the waiter) was very kind and let us sit at a different table than the one we reserved. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and attentive.
The food was perfect! We loved it! But my husband's order of goat cream, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes was sensational! I would definitely order this dish again! The side fries were also very good!
We ordered beer to go with it, and it was great, nice and cold for a pleasant summer evening.
I recommend it and would definitely go back!

I often go there to enjoy a delicious gluten-free elephant ear, always paired with a good wine (the wine list is not very extensive but the quality is good).

Siamo stati a mangiare ieri sera io, il mio compagno e una coppia di amici( lei in gravidanza) .
Sono stati molto disponibili a soddisfare le esigenze della mia amica.
Si mangia molto bene anche se i prezzi sono leggermente sopra la media ma adatti al contesto dove ci si trova.
Nel cuore di Varese, lontano dalle macchine con una bella parte esterna coperta.
Cibo ottimo, a partire dalle loro famose orecchie d’elefante farcite.
Il menù è vario e spazia da carne a qualche proposta di pesce.
Dolci freschi di loro produzione.
Il personale cordiale e non il solito con poco personale dove non ti calcolano. Sempre disponibili alle esigenze del cliente.

I recently went for dinner, there were four of us. This place is known for its excellent cutlets, which, as usual, lived up to expectations. I tried the roast beef for a change, and I must say it was excellent, and the price was in line with the quality of the meat.
Really excellent and attentive service, with many waiters and a great attention to detail.
Off-the-menu offerings, and I'd say the first courses were excellent. The meat, although the cut was delicious, was a little on the expensive side.
Overall, definitely a place to return to to finish off the full selection of orecchiette and orecchiette in various variations.

Choose the small ears because they contain veal and are more varied.

We had dinner in 6 people on Sunday evening, we all took meat dishes and I must say of excellent quality and cooking. The service was very courteous and friendly. Too bad we waited 20 minutes to receive 3 desserts. The base of the dehor needs to be reviewed, it creaks continuously.
However, I would gladly return to try other dishes.

We were at Al Vicolino two weeks ago to try their famous elephant ear. We were not disappointed. The total for a medium beer, a coke, an orecchia (500g of meat) and an orecchietta (250/300g of meat) was about €67. Taking into account the cost of the meat, service charge, the drink and extra condiments, the price was fair for us. The ears were fried very well, not greasy at all. One had the classic breading and the other crispy. The staff were very kind and professional, we will return both for the food and for them.
