22/08/2025: I've known this place for a long time, but I've always enjoyed visiting only the café and pastry shop. Last night, however, we decided to dine there, especially since the chef, Marco De Dominici, has been receiving accolades for his skill for years.
What can I say? A fantastic experience. Carefully prepared, beautifully presented, tasty yet light dishes (the meat was so tender it tasted like butter), perfect combinations, and generous portions. A true journey into the world of flavor, with top-quality ingredients (especially the vegetables, which aren't locally sourced, but locally sourced, as I see him picking them in the garden next door). Excellent service from his wife, Valentina, attentive to the customer's needs and courteous in her manner. The place isn't very large, but no one rushes you to leave your table; the atmosphere is refined, with a beautiful view and mostly wooden furnishings. Lovely vintage prints decorate the walls. When it came to the bill, Valentina also gave us a box of corn biscuits made by her husband (the chef).
What can I say? I already know we'll be back, whether for coffee breaks, breakfasts, or dinners.
This restaurant is a true gem in Valsesia!
13/07/2025: A wonderful, totally relaxing holiday, thanks to Valentina and her husband, an excellent chef, two very kind people who are TRULY dedicated to customer satisfaction. The property enjoys a fantastic location directly on the river and in the tranquility of the small village. They also allow pets in the dining room.
Highly recommended, we will definitely be back with great pleasure.
