Among the many restaurants in San Giovanni Rotondo, there is a pearl, the Al Soppalco restaurant. Welcoming, warm, with staff who welcome you from the moment you enter. Place located on the ground floor and with a mezzanine for a few tables and therefore discreet, I think the seats are between 50/70 people but I wasn't able to count. Comfortable place with warm lights suitable for small groups or couples' appointments. Attentive, punctual and courteous service that satisfied any request for information and orders, within the limits of availability. Well-listed menu with products, prices but the most important one is the list of allergens, both for the à la carte menu and for the pizzas with many types. In the kitchen there are staff specialized in the preparation of even complex courses and with quality and fresh products, starting from fish to meat. So much so that I would have asked for encores but it would have unfortunately been impossible for my stomach, compliments to the Michelin-starred chef. A compliment also to the room attendants, where courtesy and smiles are the winning weapon. If I return to San Giovanni Rotondo I know who I can count on for a quality lunch or dinner.

In this place I found a truly welcoming and refined atmosphere, capable of immediately putting you at ease. The food was a real surprise: unique flavors, never tried before, which won me over at the first taste. But the real strong point was the service: very kind staff, always available and with a sunny energy that made the experience even more pleasant. I will definitely be back!

Da brindisi a San Giovanni rotondo per visitare padre Pio. Decidiamo di fermarci a pranzo in questo meraviglioso ristorante trovato su internet. Devo dire che abbiamo mangiato divinamente. Siamo stati trattati con tanta gentilezza. Il dolce sublime e conto è stato giusto. Alla prossima.

Wow! Excellent experience. The service was excellent! The waiter was very kind, he was able to recommend excellent dishes and also let me taste all the local oils. Good pancake! Fresh real squid cooked to perfection. The chicory was also cooked perfectly. Absolutely worth trying

Nice, simple and elegant restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They immediately offered us a taste of organic EVO oil with some bread: extraordinary. We took the hot and cold seafood delight, made up of eight varied and very tasty morsels, one better than the other. The artisanal pasta with wild asparagus, clams and pink prawn was plentiful and really good. The tiramisu was also on par with the other courses. Honest prices for the quality offered. Only personal note: I would have preferred table linen, rather than dining directly on the wooden table - even though it was very clean. Some drops of oil that fell spread onto the wood, and this bothered me a bit.

Fuori dal comune a San Giovanni, dove la maggior parte delle strutture è per un turismo veloce. Location che non ti aspetti dopo aver varcato l’ingresso. Cucina che spazia dalla terra al mare con buona versatilità. Anche la pizza merita menzione. Carta di vini molto ben fornita con prezzi davvero onesti. Servizio attento e veloce.
