My partner and I went to this restaurant yesterday, trusting the excellent reviews, and we weren't wrong.
We ordered a truly superb seared tuna, and an excellent fried calamari cooked to perfection.

Nice bright place, very clean on the Via Aurelia towards the bottom of Varazze where you can enjoy a good fish dish with a good quality-price ratio. Too bad it doesn't have outdoor seating. Kind and helpful staff

The "al Solito Posto" restaurant represents the excellence of catering in Varazze. Chef Riccardo Ciarlo delights guests with sublime dishes. Mr. Franco will welcome you with extreme kindness and helpfulness. In the dining room, the staff will advise the customer in the best possible way, without mentioning the desserts made by Mr. Franco's wife, who makes them personally, desserts to delight the palate. The best restaurant in Varazze.

THEY DO NOT DO PIZZA, the only flaw since it is reported on Google as a pizzeria and also on the sign and therefore one would expect pizza on the menu.
For the rest everything was excellent, very fresh fish, excellent dishes (a noteworthy fried fish!) and kind and very professional staff.

Di passaggio a Varazze, ci siamo fermati qui per calmare la fame.
Abbiamo preso due primi: trofie al pesto 13€ e pansoti alle noci 14€, piatto che abbiamo dovuto mandare indietro a scaldare perchè arrivato quasi freddo, un pesce spada alla griglia 18€ e due verdure 10€.
Un calice di vino 5.5€, una bottiglia d'acqua 3€, coperto 3€... per un totale di 72.5€
Chiesto scontrino, lasciato sul banco all'uscita.
Non siamo stati male, ma non ci tornerei.
Un minimo di scuse per il primo piatto sarebbe state gradite.

Piccolo locale pulito e tenuto bene, leggermente dozzinale nelle scelte degli arredi .
La sostanza della cucina è superlativa abbiamo pranzato con una zuppa di cozze deliziosa e tagliatelle con alici e nocciole ,tagliolini al sugo di ricci . Vale la pena una sosta .
