We stopped by almost by chance, and I have to say I found everything delicious, including the owners...so if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again. I found the meat very tender. Ask for wine recommendations if you're not an expert.

A renovated farmhouse overlooking the Collio vineyards.
Sit down with your dog in the shade of a kiwi tree.
Francisco, the host with a heart of gold, and the staff are professional and courteous.
Crostini with melt-in-the-mouth lard, a rare Florentine steak that cuts like butter, and an excellent Merlot.
The millefeuille with berries and the homemade emulsifier sorbet are noteworthy.
Prices are in line with the quality of the food offered.

Perfect hospitality – we were lucky enough to be able to reserve a table. In the glorious summer ambiance, we enjoyed the wonderful view from the terrace overlooking the hills of Corno di Rosazzo. The beautifully set table (with cloth napkins!) aroused anticipation for the following culinary experience. Our recommendation for the cold starter (antipasto) was a salad with sautéed chanterelle mushrooms, and the warm starter (primo) was a pasta made from Sarceno (buckwheat) with flavorful beef. You can only find it in Italy: seemingly simple, yet unique. For the main course (secondo) in this renowned meat temple, we chose "Bife de chorizo," an Argentinian sirloin steak, grilled whole to medium-rare, served with oven-baked potato wedges. Wonderful, just the perfect amount for two, wonderfully tender and flavorful! The service and the host, Francisco, were prompt and friendly! Everything was perfect, the homemade sorbetti (plum and pear) emphasized the special status of the house. Sparkling wine and wine from the owner's Perusini winery. The price was right. Oil from Parovel in Trieste! I couldn't think of anything better. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience with you. Best regards, Christian da Villaco

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the dinner I had is "experience."
Located on a small hill above Corno di Rosazzo, the restaurant looks like a small, well-aged farmhouse. It's not exactly easy to reach, but with GPS navigation today, that shouldn't be a problem.
The restaurant has ample parking.
The old farmhouse is partially perfectly renovated inside, with an indoor dining area, a beautiful outdoor terrace for enjoying the view, and a very elegant glass-enclosed terrace. Yes, the restaurant is elegant and very clean. Quality tableware, beautiful tablecloths, napkins, and beautiful cutlery. There's a lot of attention to the customer, it seems obvious.
The service is always impeccable, the waiters are smiling and very kind, and they'll make your time pass peacefully.
I was there with a dear friend; we had appetizers, a second course to share, two desserts, a coffee, and a grappa.
A very good bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and two bottles of still water.
Let's get to the appetizers, even though there's not much to say. The food was quality, beautifully served (see the photos), and very good. My lard with warm crostini was delicious. My friend's tartare was equally delicious.
Next, we had a Florentine steak, cooked rare (no need to ask, folks), and that was also a pleasant surprise. It's well known that it's never easy to find a good Florentine steak outside of Tuscany, and this is one of those places where you can find it. My portion, if I really had to comment, was slightly fatty.
The desserts were also truly wonderful; my millefeuille (perhaps a little small) was truly delicious. The grappa I chose was excellent. The wine, from the surrounding hills, was a truly excellent Cabernet Sauvignon.
The evening went by lightly, we had a great time, and the two hours really flew by.
I'll be back, and I absolutely recommend you do too. A lovely discovery, and well worth your time.
The price, while a bit high, is worth it, given the quality of the food, the service, and the location, which, I repeat, is truly beautiful.
