Last night we discovered a real gem near the Darsena in Viareggio. The restaurant is striking for its elegance right from the entrance: it feels like entering the hall of a starred hotel, with rooms designed with attention to every detail and fine materials everywhere, from the floors to the coverings. After the welcome, you are accompanied to the upper floor: a spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, covered but with a sliding roof, which opens based on the weather. Unique, quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The tables are well spaced, which is rare and much appreciated. The menu is limited, but studied and based on very fresh raw materials: the catch of the day is visible on display on the ground floor, on ice tubs in view next to the kitchen. The wine list is simply endless, with the sommelier ready to guide you in the right choice - we relied on him for a Vermentino, very spot on. Impeccable service, kind and prepared staff, ready to answer any questions. Yes, the prices are those of a high-end restaurant... but so is everything else. An experience worth every penny. Perhaps one of the best restaurants in all of Viareggio. We will be back.

It was a lovely restaurant situated just in front of the marina, and definitely nice to have a table upstairs with a view of the water and the yachts. However, they tried to give us a table in their less attractive verandah (with this harsh lighting) which we refused, and were then seated inside the main hall though in a corner a bit far from the nice views - and exposed to second hand smoke because they allowed smokers to smoke in the verandah next to us. I think many of the nice tables were for couples or 3 pax. And we were 4. However, the service was friendly and efficient and the food really very good. We came here for the seafood dishes and every one of them was nicely executed and presented. They also had fresh porcini options (it’s the beginning of the season), which we would have been tempted to try if not for the fact that we really came to have seafood. A good address.
