There was like a Turbot donut that was rather confusing and the deserts seemed quotidian. All the other dishes were stellar however with the Goulash, kimchi/mushroom starter deserving of particular praise. The seafood spaghetti was extremely good,like swimming in the ocean. Staff were super nice, friendly and informative.

A stellar dinner...
At Petes, you can be sure of a guaranteed meal. Attentive, friendly, and professional service are the hallmarks of this beautiful, elegant, and well-maintained establishment.
The culinary offerings are truly extensive, from local dishes to intriguing Asian fusions, featuring unique meats that are hard to find in other restaurants, like duck or pigeon, and expertly prepared local fish. All accompanied by a sublime wine list and the sommelier's ever-present recommendations...
The evening also ends excellently, with a selection of spirits for a perfect end to the meal.

An exquisite fine dining experience! The ambiance was stunning, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The staff were exceptionally attentive, taking the time to explain the intricacies of the menu and ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable evening. The homemade bread selection was a delightful touch—fresh, warm, and utterly delicious.

We had a fantastic dinner yesterday. The dishes in the degustation menu not only were creative with a modern touch, but also made from fresh products, with a vast variety of ingredients (our favorites of the great dishes were the ones in which dorade, deer, and mushrooms played the main role). Wonderful wine suggestions by Fabio (including a stunning Slovenian Malvazija at a very fair price point). Grazie mille, we will for sure come back!

Ayant déjà fréquenté cet endroit antérieurement ( voir avis précédent) je n’y étais plus allé depuis un certain temps. Nos amis triestins n’étaient plus aussi enthousiastes qu’ils ne l’avaient été, regrettant la perte d’une certaine convivialité. Le concept a en effet bien changé mais les plats sont toujours aussi savoureux . Un service sympathique et de très bons conseils pour le choix des vins. Prix dans la moyenne supérieure.
