Always super place. Beautiful sea view, beautiful wooden structure and excellent traditional cuisine. The fried food is wonderful, the gnocchi and the spaghetti are also excellent. I liked the mussel meatballs less. Two first courses, two second courses, water, wine and coffee €73 My only piece of advice, if I were one of the dining room staff, I would dress a little less casually and a little more formally, because it might seem like a Spartan place but it has been a classy place for years now. If you bring people there it's definitely to make a great impression and not just to eat.

Fabulous location!! You enjoy a view of the sea and passing boats from the port which is priceless. Excellent value for money. Very friendly service although not very present in the room. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful place, you eat in front of windows overlooking the sea, the fish is local in season.....I can't wait to go back in the summer!

The location is amazing, worth a visit for that alone. The service is rather slow, the food is decent, the prices are average, recommended!!

Erano anni che non tornavo in questo posto. Location molto bella, in riva al mare, ma in una vecchia e orrenda cava dismessa. Interni curati e possibilità di stare all'aperto nella bella stagione. Ma prezzi da locale di alto livello, però la cucina non è allo stesso livello. Gestoresse molto gentili, ma mancano scelte nel bere (non hanno Coca Zero...!), acqua minerale solo in bottiglie grandi (hanno inventato anche le piccole da 1/2 litro..., specie per le persone sole). Primi da far paura, pochissima scelta, tutta di pesce (e se uno degli ospiti non lo gradisce?) con prezzi da 14-16€. Peggio che in centro e Rive a Trieste. Ma li siamo fuori dal mondo. Secondi ancora più costosi, e infatti pochi li prendono, e non fatti a regola d'arte. Contorni giganteschi che da soli fanno un pranzo. Caffè così così. Eppure era pieno di gente, forse anche perchè era l'unico posto aperto. Da solo, €32 per un secondo (così così) con contorno, 1/2 antipasto (squisito, a dire il vero), acqua minerale e una soda. Caffè.

Sincere fishing tourism. The place is quite simple, almost all made of wood, the interior almost resembles a boat. Sea views with breathtaking sunsets. The place is family-run and this makes the place even more genuine. The menu is simple, with few but good dishes; during the order the catch of the day is indicated. We ate mixed fried fish and grilled turbot (catch of the day). The fried food is really very good, not greasy, and with fresh fish (not the usual frozen squid rings from a bag) and the turbot is truly superlative. My family and I (we were 4) were really excited :) we will definitely be back

Fresh fish cuisine, all good and with local fish products, well presented dishes accompanied by a selection of local wines with a kind and helpful service

Arrived at sunset, really beautiful location, excellent food. The menu was already established as it was a party but everything was really very good.
